Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University invites applications for PhD (Full-Time / Part-Time) 2025 in multiple domains. The application form is available on the GIET website.

The candidates can submit the applications via email at phdadmission@eiet.edu before January 4, 2025. The application fee of INR 1000 needs to be paid at the time of submission.

GIET PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates with a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade are eligible to apply for a PhD in the Engineering domain.
• Candidates with a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade are eligible to apply for a PhD in Science, Management, or other domains.
• A relaxation of 5% marks at the PG level is provided for SC / ST / OBC candidates.

GIET PhD Admission Procedure

• Applicants can download the application form from the University website and should submit the duly filled-in application form along with the required certificates & mark sheets via email.
• Selections will be made through the Entrance Test followed by the personal interview.
• Candidates, who have qualified for the UGC NET / GATE / CSIR-JRF are exempted from appearing in the entrance test, but they are required to appear for the Interview.
• Preference will be given to the NET Qualified candidates.
• A list of selected candidates will be declared after the Interviews.

• The Application fee is to be deposited through UPI or Net Banking in the below-mentioned account of GIET University:

• The Entrance Test shall consist of 50% Research Methodology and 50% subject-specific questions.
• Scholarship with on-campus accommodation will be provided to deserving candidates, who will pursue the Ph. D. on a full-time basis.
