VMOU Kota PhD Eligibility

• Candidates must have a Master's degree or equivalent qualification, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC-7-point scale from any Indian or foreign educational institution.
• A relaxation of 5% of marks or an equivalent grade, is allowed to SC / ST / OBC(non-creamy layer) / Differently-abled and other category candidates.
• Direct admission will be provided to students who qualify for fellowship in UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED and similar National level tests as per Category 1, based on an interview and document verification.
• For students who qualify in Categories 2 and 3 of National Level Tests, 70% weightage will be given for the test scores and 30% weightage for the interview. The PhD admission will be based on the combined merit of NET marks and marks obtained in the Interview.
