The following are guidelines and procedures for submitting assignments at Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU):

Each course requires students to complete one assignment. Students are supposed to give all the assignments before the tests.

• Assignments may be submitted in in-person or through email to the regional centre
• Students who fail to provide their assignments on time will not be permitted to sit for the final examination. 
• Each assignment carries 20 marks and marks will be added to the end term examination. 
• The term-end exam's score is increased by the points earned on assignments.
• Assignments are a significant part of any course evaluation and affect a student's overall grade.
• Students must receive at least 20 marks out of a possible 40 for assignments in order to pass.
• The following details need to be included by students in their assignments: Title of programme, full location, admission number, and course code Title of the course; Study Center's name, Date of Signature
• Assignments are available for download on the university's official website.
• Assignments must be turned in by students by the deadline to the regional centre.
• Exam results will not be sent to students who are unable to turn in assignments.

Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) offers the following courses for distance education programs:

• A. Undergraduate programs: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Journalism (BJ), Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLISc), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
• B. Postgraduate programs: Master of Arts (MA), Master of Commerce (MCom), Master of Science (MSc), and Master of Education (MEd)
• Other courses: MBA, BJMC, MCA, and lateral entry programs in journalism.

 The fee structure of VMOU courses varies according to the year and the course type. Here are the details: 

1. BA: ?4,400 for the first year
2. B.Com: ?4,400 for the first year
3. BBA: ?6,700
4. BCA: ?10,400
5. Bachelor of Journalism: ?8,900
6. Certification: ?1,400
7. Diploma (Correspondence): ?5,000
8. MBA (part-time): ?14,600 for the first year
9. B.Sc. (Part Time): ?14,200

Follow the steps to apply to VMOU for admissions:

1. Go to VMOU's official webpage at vmou.ac.in.
2. Select "First Year/Fresh Admissions" located on the top
3. Click Apply Now and Select New User option
4. Register using a valid mobile number and email address. An OTP would be provided to the registered mobile number for the confirmation of registration. Copy paste the OTP to finalise the registration process. 
5. Once registered, Login using your VMOU login information.
6. Select the desired course and provide all necessary information while filling out the application.
7. Upload a scanned copy of your ID, signature, and required documents
8. Carefully complete the application and pay the application fee.

The results of the December 2023 Term End Exam (TEE) are expected to be released for Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) by the final week of March 2024. 

Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) has many study centres, including regional centres, special centres, and tens of study centres spread across different cities. The regional centres of VMOU are situated in Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and Udaipur. The regional centre in Kota is housed in SPC Government College, Ajmer. There is a special VMOU centre in New Delhi.

The Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) exam schedule has been published. Exams for Undergraduate, Graduate, Certificate, and Diploma programmes will be held from February 7 to March 12, 2024.

VMOU offers 20 undergraduate, 10 Postgraduate, 10 Diploma courses and 5 Certificate courses. Their popular courses are BA, B.Sc, B.Com, M.Com, MA. Students who wish to pursue undergraduate courses must complete 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks in their respective field from a recognised board. Postgraduate candidates must also have a prior graduate degree from a recognised university in their respective field with 50% aggregate marks.

Admissions to VMOU is done online. Students must follow the steps given below for admission at VMOU
A.. Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria must fill the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University application form available on the university's official website with all the necessary details.
B. Students are selected based on their scores in the qualifying exam.
C. After the VMOU fees are paid and the documents are verified, final admission will be made available.

The Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) has two admission cycles, in January and July, for all courses. Admission is based on merit, but there is also a first come, first served basis for admission to UG and PG courses.
