VGU (NAAC A+) has organized a two-day researcher conclave 'Shodh Prayas' on Friday i.e. May 24, 2024. This program has more than 100 subject experts to discuss the intricacies of research papers related to various subjects. However, in this two-day research conclave, more than 2500 research papers were presented and original research papers were submitted on subjects like social development, Indian knowledge tradition, sustainable development, community justice, etc.

The Chief guest in this conclave was V Sarvana Kumar, the Secretary and Commissioner of the Department of Science and Technology. While addressing this, Kumar said that to understand how things work, scientific research related to science and technology is important. Furthermore, it develops various fields of study, such as chemistry, biology, medicine, psychology, and other fields. Scientific research also helps in solving the existing problems and probable problems of the coming future. He appreciated the vision of VGU and said that the name of the University i.e. Vivekananda Global University is appropriate as the University is helping society with education. He also praised VGU for participating in research activities as publishing research papers is not an easy task.

Mr. Omkar Bagaria, University CEO spoke at the event and said that VGU has so far published more than 200 patents, out of which more than 30 patents have been granted.

Dr. K. R. Bagaria, Vice Chairperson of the University, addressed that learning, teaching, research, and discovering new things are in the hands of all people. These works can be possible with everyone’s support. Discoveries increase a person's knowledge and provide him with new paths. On the second day of the research effort, the faculty members as well as the UG students presented their research papers in front of the subject experts. The Subject experts have highlighted the vision of the writing and the quality of the research paper. The main purpose behind such an event is that other students must understand the importance of research work along with the teachers and researchers in the university.

At the end of the program, VGU Registrar Praveen Kumar Chaudhary expressed his gratitude towards all the guests present in the auditorium as well as the teachers and students of the university. Pravin Kumar has explained the importance of research by saying that it can develop many new products and procedures. Along with that, good research work can bring depth and subtlety to various aspects of knowledge. Research provides the basis for almost all government policies in our economic system. To encourage more research work, every year, VGU organizes an academic festival in the name of 'Shodh Prayas'.
