CUET 2023 Exam Day Instructions and guidelines like exam date, time, and location are written on the CUET 2023 admit card. CUET 2023 admit card also contains the list of do’s and don'ts for the CUET 2023 exam day.

CUET 2023 Exam is scheduled to be held from 21st May 2023 to 31st May 2023. NTA will release the CUET 2023 admit card in the second week of May 2023. CUET 2023 exam will be held in three shifts according to the recent updates of NTA. CUET 2023 Exam for UG admission will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. So, students should be aware about CUET Exam day guidelines. This can be helpful to candidate in last minute hassle.

Things to carry to CUET 2023 Examination Centre

Below is the checklist of items and documents that candidates are permitted to bring to the CUET 2023 examination center:

  • Print copy of admit card along with duly filled self-declaration (undertaking) form available on NTA website.
  • Any one of the authorized, valid, original, and non-expired photo IDs such as the School Identity Card, Driving License, Voter ID, PAN card, Passport, E-Aadhaar with photograph, Aadhaar Card with photograph, Ration Card with a photograph.
  • One recently clicked passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the online CUET application form). It is required to be pasted on the attendance sheet at the examination center.
  • Bank Passbook with Photograph or Board Admit Card with Photograph.
  • For claiming relaxation under the PwBD category, the Original PwBD certificate allocated by an authorized medical officer is to be shown.
  • Candidates are also allowed to carry a transparent water bottle and a black ballpoint pen to the examination venue.

Things not to take to CUET 2023 examination center

Everything other than what is mentioned above will be prohibited in the examination hall. If candidates have any of the following items, they should ensure to leave them outside the examination hall:

Any type of electronic device/gadgets Any kind of books or study material
Pouch/Scale/Geometry box/Pencil box Handbags or Wallets
Sunglasses or Goggles Handwritten, Blank, Printed, or any white paper or piece of paper or writing pad
Jewelry such as earrings, bracelets, rings, nose pins, pendants, charms, brooches, chain/necklaces, hair bands, hair pins, badges, clothes with big buttons or full sleeves Shoes/Closed sandals

What are the Important guidelines for CUET 2023 Exam Day?

Before the CUET 2023 Exam

Below are some of the essential guidelines prior to the examination:

  • Candidates must not overeat or undereat prior to the examination day. They should also not compromise their sleep hours and should get at least 7-8 hours of sleep the night before the exam.
  • Candidates should check all the documents before leaving home for the exam. They should ensure to carry the most important documents like admit card and valid ID proof otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
  • Before going for the examination, candidates should paste the recently clicked passport size photograph on the CUET admit card.
  • Candidates should reach the examination center at least 1-2 hours before the reporting time to avoid last minute rush. It must be noted that candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination venue 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  • Candidates should wear appropriate attire keeping in mind comfort and examination.

During the CUET 2023 Exam

Below are some important guidelines that candidates should follow during the exam:

  • Candidates should find their seats immediately after the examination doors open.
  • Applicants should ensure that the question papers displayed on their computer screen are as per their chosen subject mentioned in the admit card. If the question paper is different, they should immediately bring it to the attention of the invigilator concerned.
  • In case of any technical assistance, first aid emergency, or any other details during the entrance examination, attendants can approach the invigilator or center superintendent present in the examination hall.
  • Candidates should not resort to unfair means during the examination. It can result in direct disqualification from the examination.
  • All writing work and calculations are to be done on the rough sheet provided at the examination center. After completion of the examination, the candidates have to hand over their respective rough sheets to the invigilator on duty in the room.

After the CUET 2023 Exam

Below are some essential guidelines of CUET Exam Day that candidates have to follow after completion of the test:

  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the room till the examination time is over.
  • Candidates are required to exit the examination hall in an orderly manner.
  • It is crucial that candidates observe social distancing before, during, and after the examination.
  • Candidates that belong to the PwBD category will be provided a compensation duration of 15 minutes for 45 minutes long examination and a compensation duration of 20 minutes for a 60 minutes examination.
  • NTA will not conduct re-examinations for those candidates who could not appear in the entrance examination.
