How to Challenge CUET UG Provisional Answer Key?

In the official notice released on July 7, NTA has specified the guidelines to challengeCUET UG Answer keys for PBT and CBTmode candidates.

Procedure to challenge of CBT (Computer Based Test) mode:

1. Visit exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ and login with your CUET UG Application Number and Date of Birth.
2. Click the ‘View/Challenge’ Answer Key button.
3. Each question will have a Question ID. The column under ‘Correct Option (S)’ stands for the most appropriate answer key used by the NTA.
4. You can challenge NTA’s option by selecting one or more options provided in the next 5 columns by clicking the check box.
5. Upload supporting documents if you want by selecting ‘Choose File’, and all documents must be in one single PDF.
6. Once you have clicked on your desired IDs to challenge. Click on the ‘Submit and Review Claims’.
7. You can modify your selection by clicking on ‘Modify Claim’
8. After you are satisfied with your challenges, select ‘Save Claim and Pay fee’ to move to the payment options. No modifications are permitted after payment.
9. Make the payment of INR 200 (Non-Refundable) through UPI/Debit Card/Credit Card

Procedure to challenge for PBT (Pen and Paper) mode:

1. Visit exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/, click on ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge’ and login with your CUET UG Application Number and Date of Birth.
2. Your subjects will be displayed on the right side of the screen.
3. You can check your OMR Answer Sheet after clicking on the ‘view’ icon mentioned with the subject.
4. If you want to challenge the answer key of a subject then you will need to click on ‘Challenge Answer Key (OMR)’ where you will see the question numbers of the subject for which you want to challenge the answer key.
5. The number next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option/Answer’ is the answer selected by the NTA. If you want to challenge it then choose any one or more of the options in the next 4 columns.
6. If you want to upload supporting documents then do so in a single PDF File.
7. After clicking on your desired options, select ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen. Your challenges will be displayed.
8. You can either modify your challenges or if you are satisfied then you can click on ‘Save your claim and pay fee finally’ to make your payment.
9. Pay INR 200 (Non-Refundable) via debit card/credit card/upi to successfully complete the challenge. You cannot modify your challenges after payment.
