JoSAA Round 5 seat allotment result has been declared today, i.e. on July 17, 2024. JoSAA Round 4 seat allotment was released on July 10, 2024. Candidates who have qualified in JEE Main and JEE Advanced can visit the official website of JoSAA by entering their application number and password.

Candidates can pay the fee and upload their documents till July 22, 2024. All the queries for fee payment issues and other problems will be resolved by July 23, 2024, by 5 PM. JoSAA also facilitates candidates to opt for any one of the Freeze, Float, or Slide for the seat in the next round. If the candidate doesn’t respond to any of the options then the seat will automatically be rejected and they will not be given seat allocations in the next rounds.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) was established by MHRD to control and oversee the admission of more than 100 colleges including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

How to Check JoSAA Seat Allotment?

Given below are the steps to check the JoSAA seat allotment 2024.

  • Visit the official website of JoSAA: @ josaa.nic.in.
  • Log in with your roll number and password.
  • Click on "View Seat Allotment Result."
  • Give the application number, password, and security pin for JEE Main/JEE Advanced 2024.
  • Check and download the seat allotment result.
  • Upload the required documents for verification.

  • Two passport-size photographs which are identical to the ones uploaded during JEE Main/ Advanced.
  • Provisional JoSAA seat allotment letter 2024
  • A valid Photo Identity Card
  • Class 10th Marksheet for Date of Birth Proof
