Indian Institutes of Management released the Common Admission Test- CAT 2024 notification released on 28 July 2024. As per the CAT 2024 notification, the CAT is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday 24 November 2024 in the morning (8:30 PM to 10:30 AM), afternoon (12:30 PM to 2:30 PM) & evening (4:30 PM to 6:30 PM) sessions. Admission to candidates in various MBA/PGDM courses offered by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other management colleges is based on CAT 2024 scores. Students who wish to appear in CAT 2024 can visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
Candidates must check the CAT 2024 eligibility criteria before applying. To be eligible for CAT 2024, candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in any field or have a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA/FIAI) with minimum marks of 50% (45% for reserved categories). Candidates, who are in their final year of bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply for CAT 2024. While applying for the CAT 2024, students need to pay the application fee of INR 2400. For reserved category candidates, the CAT 2024 application fee is INR 1200. CAT 2024 also offers reservation of seats including SC (15%), ST (7.5), OBC (27%), and EWS (10%).

- Students must have cleared bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum mark of 50%. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the CAT 2024 minimum mark requirement is 45%.
- Students with a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA/FIAI) are also eligible to apply for CAT 2024.
- Students in their final year of bachelor's degree can also apply for CAT 2024.
