Admission is done by JEE/CET entrance exams. Admissions were done by CAP round of MHT-CET according to the cut-off. It goes 92-93%ile for Computer and so on. 3 Cap rounds are held. No GD/PI was done.
Qualification of faculty mostly Ph.D., pursuing PhD and Masters. They have good faculty. The curriculum is easy if you study. After admission and induction program is done 1 or 1.5-month units tests are held followed by the Midterm exam. But this year as the curriculum has changed there is no mid-term exam so they might take unit tests for internal marking.
The T&P cell of the college is very helpful and brings many opportunities for students. It is up to students to grab it and not regret it later. The highest package over this year was 22Lpa. Avg is 8-10 and the lowest is 3-4lpa.
The fee per year is? 1,15000. In my first year of college, I paid. 66000 which is half of the tuition fee and the rest was paid by the govt scholarship. This govt scholarship was for a family income of less than 8 lakh. This year I paid only 14000 which is the development fee of the college rest was paid by govt. as govt announced free education for ppl who have an income of less than 8 lakh. Also, there are many other scholarships offered by colleges such as LPF(LEELA POONAWALA FUNDS), CATALYST, etc. Also, you can go for private scholarships by doing some research.
You will feel more like school as they have 75% attendance mandatory which is almost in every college. There are official clubs for coding, aptitude, and hr for placement training. The infrastructure is very good. After admission, I thought the infrastructure of the college was not that good. But after visiting another college I've realized that the infrastructure of this college is far better than any college. All facilities of the library, common room to play board games, and sick room facilities have been developed over a year.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
