- The faculties here are highly qualified and have a great way of teaching their highly experienced and are brilliant in their respective fields
- The college have great practical labs, and sufficient samples and Sufficient cadavers. Students, here get almost everything to excel an academicS
Dislikes
- The campus is not too big and also does not have a lot of things. The playground is also not so great.
- The college lacks hostel facility for first-year students, so they have to pay high rent by living in the city
Remarks :
It is the oldest and the best medical college of the state. The associated hospital DR BRAMH is also one of the finest hospital of the state, It has heavy patient load which allows interns to learn and explore new things Admission process is through NEET examination you have to score qualification marks to get in the college Cut off for general category is around 660-640 for genral Around 630 for obc and around 550 for sc/st students
Course Curriculum Overview :
I selected this course as my father wanted me to become a Doctor , so I worked for his dream and got into a good govt college. Faculties are highly qualified they are all md/ms in their respective subjects Term exams occurs almost every 3 months and there is one final University exam that occurs once a year And yes you have to study hard for the exam they are really too difficult ,but yes you can score good if your concepts are clear, you are attentive in lectures and practicals
Placement Experience :
As it is a government medical College, we don’t need to go and find out placements. Every student pursuing MBBS has to work in government healthcare centres for two year under the bond. They can get their postings near their hometown as well At periphery locations like Bastar The payment is around 76,000 and in cities, it is around 57000 to 65,000
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees is 4000 per year There is no non-government fees Development fees, lab fees and all other fees adds upto 6040 per year, so total fees will be 40640 per year. Fees is same for all students St sc students get 50000 scholarship amount anually
Campus Life :
The campus do not have a lot,the college is in the centre of the city, so the campus is relatively small, but yes, the campus has a good canteen. One general store and obviously the college. The hospital mortuary the hostels and also the campus a doctors colony. For the doctors serving at the hospital or teaching at the college
Hostel Facilities :
The college lacks hostel facility for the first year boys. They have to stay outside at PG or at rent .From second year We can get hostels hostel is way cheaper. It just cost 3500 per year in the mess charge, there is Just 2500 per month.The girls Have proper hostel facility with the same price. The Mess food in the hostel is relatively ok it’s not too good, not too bad. For the first year boys, they have to they have to find a rented room or PG nearby locality that is Devendra Nagar ,Fafadih,pandri or shankar nagar. Registration process for the hostel occurs at the time of admission for girls and for the boys, they have to wait till second year

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
