I had to take the MHT-CET exam to get admission. Also, there was group discussion and one-on-one sessions for selection. I didn't prepare much for the rounds as the GD topics were common. Good things about the college would be the ROI(return on investment), marketing and finance students get lots of companies for their placement. Hr domain packages are a bit less than Mkt and finance.
I chose this course because there is international exposure and it also provides an MBA-PGP program with a triple certification course. The faculty is very friendly, helpful and experienced. The semester exams happened after 5 to 6 months, there were 4 semesters in MBA-PGP which is a two-year course.
I did my internship as a financial research analyst in a fintech company. It was unpaid but I got to learn a lot and improve my skills. I had to predict the future outcome of stocks and I also had to make project reports and submit them to the company website.
The good thing about the college is its placements, a lot of companies come for marketing and finance students, HR on the other hand fewer companies come as compared to marketing and finance. The average package is 5 to 6 lakhs per annum.
For my MBA, the total fee is 590000, 1st year is 290000 and the second year fee is 300000. The college accepts payment from all banks and in every method. There are two batches MBA-PGP and bi. The bi-batch fee is less than MBA-PGP.
The college celebrates all kinds of festivals and occasions like Independence Day, Saraswati puja and Christmas. Yearly sports take place where a wide range of games starting from cricket football and badminton is played. The infrastructure is good with many clubs, a common room, a games room, a gym and a library.
We had stayed in the college hostel for 11 months. The hostel was well furnished and modern. The hostel food a good too with a variety of dishes every day. There were 4, 3 and 2 sharing rooms in the hostel. A washing machine and wi-fi are available.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
