Remarks :
There are two modes of admissions one is through councelling and other is through management quota. The councelling process is the general TNEA process . For management quota we must initially apply for the college, based on our cut-off we will get an interview letter to attend the aptitude and interview exam. Based on our aptitude and interview performance we will get an admission offer .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering as I was interested in components and circuit connections . All the faculty who teach here are PhD holders and have indepth knowledge of what they teach. The are two continuous assessments and 1 semester exams each of medium difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes , I have opted for internships . As now I am in my third year the companies are just now coming for internship drive . The companies majorly offer SD roles . Companies like DeShaw .Co , Goldman Sachs, Fedility,City Bank will come are coming proving 40k - 1.5 L stipend per month
Placement Experience :
The main eligibility criteria will be CGPA . For computer science and IT departments it will be 7.5 cgpa and for electronics and electrical departments it will be 8 cgpa . The few visitors are DeShaw .co , Fedility, Ashok Leyland , Citi Bank and PayPal.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For students who wrote management exams and came into the college have to pay extra 50000 each year , but students who came through councelling will pay the fees recommended by anna university. There are four type of scholarships available in my college which are 1. Rural scholarship 2. Merit scholarships 3. Sports scholarships 4. Merit cum need scholarship For rural scholarship the entire 4 years the students fees are covered by the institute itself including hostel and mess food , each year around 15-20 get this scholarship. For sports it's the level in which they played like zonal, state , national or international. For merit scholarships the top three students of each department get Rs 40000 as scholarship amount . For merit cum need it's based on the income of the family and money they need to complete the education.
Campus Life :
The major fest conducted will be INSTINCTS which will take place during February - March. This fest will be conducted for 3 days and will invite famous celebrities as chief guests. The availability of books and journals are great in the library. There are variety of clubs in SSN which includes music club , dance club (western and classical), Astroclub , Maths club , IEEE , and various department clubs .

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
