Remarks :
I was first drawn to SSN College of Engineering after seeing it featured in films like Enai Noki Paayum Thotta and Needhane En Ponvasantham. The college's cool campus and freedom it offers to its students really caught my attention. Over time, I grew more interest in it, and these factors, along with its strong academic reputation and excellent placement records, played a key role in my decision to choose this college. For admission under the management quota, I participated in an entrance test followed by an online interview. After successfully clearing these stages, I secured admission to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Right from my childhood, I was fascinated about how things works in Computer and how different software were made and what are the basic things required for it to be developed. Also I always dreamt of being a Software Engineer at a big company like Fidelity Investments and Paypal. So, I considered taking Computer Science Engineering as it would allow me learn things required to build robust software on my own with ease and would help me land my Dream job with a good package. So SSN paved a way for it and faculty of CSE branch are highly informative and are well qualified. They taught me each and every concept in a practical manner which helped me develop my basics. The course curriculum that I studied included current industry trending concepts like ReactJS, MongoDB, Agile Methodologies, etc. which again made me ready for getting my dream job. The Exams were medium to hard level and were happened in correct time as planned (4 to 5 months will be there for a semester).
Internships Opportunities :
Our College provides Summer Internships for students during out 5th Semester. Companies like Motorq, Fidelity Investments, CITI, BNY, TVS Credits, DEShaw, Paypal, etc comes to our campus, interview eligible students and selects them as Summer Interns. Pre-placement offer conversions will also happen if you crack the criteria for selection during your internship period. I got an internship opportunity in Fidelity Investments and got Pre-placement offer with a package of 12 Lakhs per annum.
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities at SSN are excellent, with a strong track record of top recruiters visiting the campus each year. The College's placement cell plays a crucial role in preparing students through workshops, mock interviews and skill-building sessions, ensuring they are industry-ready. Eligibility Criteria may vary for company. So i would advise you guys to have at least 8 CGPA and with no current backlogs to make yourself eligible for all the Company. The special feature is you can have one offer in dream, super-dream and marquee category. The most Promising Recruiters that visited for my batch is Motorq, Fidelity Investments, Rocketlane, CITI, BNY, Natwest, Barclays, M2P fintech, Amazon, Nvidia, Paypal, DEShaw, General Electrics, TCS, CTS and more with around 400+ offers issued and still counting. Then highest package offered is 50LPA by DEShaw. Around 90 to 95% of people opted for Placements will be placed for sure every year as many companies will come.

Campus Life :
Life at SSN is like living your life independently. Like till our School days we used to under the surveillance by the school management. But SSN allows their students to be set free and be on their own, giving an experience of real life in college time. But I any student takes this for granted they also faced the consequences. Every year we will have a Cultural event "Instincts" for 3 days in the month of march where various events and many celebrities from cine industry would come. We have "Lakshya" a marketing event and "Mela" conducted by SSN School of Management every year to make everyone indulge in marketing. A well maintained Library and Sports complex is also there to pass your leisure time. There are many clubs in the college. If you are a tech savvy or wanna explore technology, I would recommend "SSN Coding Club", which will make you indulge in various tech activities across domains. The amazing part is that these clubs are run by the students themselves.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
