- The college campus is really beautiful with lots of trees and fresh air which is actually relaxing and admirable
- The student interaction is very good in this college and there is some decent amount of leniency that the management has given compared to other colleges in the city.
Dislikes
- Poor maintainance of furnitures in classroom has always been a drawback in the college . During summers there was no arrangement made for the students and staffs to shift to AC rooms or provide anu holidays every day was a working day
- The college does not allow any use of vehicles inside the campus. The campus is very huge and we have to walk arround everywhere even during summers which is very tiring. The departments are located far away and the entrance gate is also far away making us walk the whole way down.
Remarks :
My admission process was completely done through online but now it is offline and the cut off has also increased for all the departments. The minimum cut off expected is around 192-200 . The government quota has no special entrance exams but management quota people have to write an entrance exam and also clear the interview round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses are relevant to the current market but only from 3 rd year they start making sense until then it is complete mixture from all departments. All faculties are well educated and well trained there is no doubt about it and they have good knowledge in their subject. Most of them have completed their doctrine. There are basically 2 set of internal exams conducted and then final end semester exams . The end semester exams are mostly much difficult than the internals because the portion is anyways more. I chose this course out of my own interest and I am also planning to pursue my career on the same.
Internships Opportunities :
I did complete internship in L&T . It was through a referal and not through the college. We learned about a software StadPro and basic designs using the software .Everyday projects were given and for the report we had to sum up everything together .
Placement Experience :
Placements are reasonably good but not upto the mark this year because the quality of students have surely reduced and moreover there is less support from the college side too. Big companies did visit but the number has reduced . Companies like Avalara,HCL , cognizant, Comcast,valeo, ashok leyland and many other have visited but most of them were for IT and for civil core it was a very less number which was disappointing because people who want to enter core dint get any help.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for the college varies based on what type of addmission we have taken . For students entering through the government quota the fee is arround 1.5L and for management seat it is higher. The admission fee and the registration fee varies for every department which I am not aware completely it is available in the website . Financial aids have also been provided for students of different states and students performing well are awarded merit scholarship of about 75000 and there are several other scholarships like for sports too
Campus Life :
Life at SSN makes me experience different cultured people and mostly from Andhra and tamilnadu. So the college has mainly 2 fests the instincts in the month of March and invente a technical fest in the month of October. Other events keep happening from various departments like sycon , mela etc. The library is well organised and has lot of collection. Sports like carrom , basketball, cricket, football, throw ball, kho kho ,table tennis are also available. Music club, dance clubs and various other clubs have members supporting people with talents.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
