Remarks :
The good aspects of the college are they encourage the students in sports, other activities like music, dance, singing and those who have cinema passion. The aluminis of SSN in sports, cinema & other activities for example indian cricketer R ashwin & director Pradeep ranganathan. The bad aspects of the college is Placements because most o the company are management not related to core engineering. But placements for IT & CSE is awesome. The merit students selected by cut off. The required cut off in SSN is 191- 199 according the Courses. The management quota students have to write exam and attend face to face interviews. The is no recommendation in SSN.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course i have selected Mechanical engineering because i have interest in core and mechanical engineering. The most of the faculty are completed Phd & they have Doctorate degree in thier field. The lab technicians have more experience in their field.The most of them will teach through projector for better understanding. There are three Assesment tests and lab model test will conducted.
Internships Opportunities :
Catpillar, Tcs , volvo , royal enfield , KBR are gave interships to students with stipend and some companies will gave free transport. The period of internships are three to six months after completing internships companies may be provide offer letter.
Placement Experience :
The most average highest package is above 12 lakhs per yaer and the average lowest package is 4 lakh per year. The visited recruiters are Zoho, Tcs, HCl, Mckinsey, catpillar, voltas these are few. The most of the students are get aleast one offers from placement if they prepared & have required academics. The 90% students who opted placements will get placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Annual fee in the 1st year Rs.230000 that includes Development & placement training fee Rs. 20000/year, other fees like books,la coat, Id card, WiFi is Rs 54000/ year, Hostel fee is Rs.680000/year, Hostel admin fee is Rs.20000 in first year, Hostel & mess caution deposit is Rs.7500 in first year only & college caution deposit is Rs.5000 in first year only. The caution deposit fees are refundable when we completed. The consecutive year fees doesn't require any caution & deposit and admin fees. The other year fees are Rs. 192000. If students eligible for Reservation quota like SC, ST for them govt of tamilnadu give Rs.55000 as tution fee.
Campus Life :
SSN college is student college because the technical fest and culturals are conduct through students. The students have get knownledge to management & leadership through this fests and have gain experience to manage the issue and problems. The technical fest is Invente and culturals fest is instincts. Total no.s of books can issue 5 per students and SSN is WiFi campus. There are many clubs in SSN for students in Film club, muisc clun, singing club,dance club, bharanatiyam club, tamil club, comedy club. The welfare clubs are NSS, YRC and sports clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of the food in mess is average & in month end there will be Feast for students and the weekly thrice non-veg and weekly twice egg will provided. for veg students they will provide some special veg foods on non veg days. Regiatration process of hostel is to get signature from hostel warden & signature from mess incharge. The only three or two students are allowed to stay in room according to room spacious.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
