- I like the clear open space in the campus the campus is always kept clean and neat.The faculty are very supportive and friendly and helpful us interact with other departments also
Dislikes
- There is no vehicles allowed inside such a big campus making it difficult to walk everywhere in the hot weather
- The outpass formalities are too much to get out of campus even during emergency or any serious need too much of formalities is irritating
- Help during placement process is poor people who are in a dilemma with higher studies and placement are forced to opt out of placement
Remarks :
As a passout during the corona the cut off was too high. I basically wanted a reduced fee structure so I chose this college as it was reasonable for the government quota .The management seat requires us to write an entrance exam and then followed by interview . The exams consisted of basic level aptitude and 12 th syllabus. In the interview the questions were about very basic general knowledge.
Course Curriculum Overview :
To me the courses offered started being useful after the 4th semester until then it was a complete mixture of all department subjects and the syllabus was good enough to give the basic amount of knowledge required. Faculty support is very good they are ready to help anytime in any kind of field we really need help with. Talking about the exams there is 2 internal exam conducted and then the final semester. The difficulty level of the semester exam is much higher than the internal exam as the portions included is large and the question format is also difficult
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't attended any internships through the college anyways the college did arrange internships for people who haven't done any during the 6th semester but most of them dint get any stipend. Students who went to internship hy attending interviews did get stipend of about 10-20k per month
Placement Experience :
For placement the basic criteria is no active backlogs during the placement process. Otherwise we can't even apply for the company. The placements have reduced in drastci number. Non core companies are where most of the students get placed. Students who have just received internship offers are also counted as placed and the number of students placed have been increased Average package is about 8-10 LPA and the highest was 21 LPA. Most of the companies are of IT and for other core department like chemical and civil there are very few companies which is a very sad thing. I have planned to go for higher studies after my degree so I am not attending anu company interview
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am currently in immy final year and the fees I have been paying has not much increase. I have secured the seat through government quota which comes upto 1.5L and for management quota it is upto 2.25L. The hostel fees is about 75000 and the mess fees comes upto 3000 per month if you chose to take a diffrent mess it will cost more about 5000 depends on the number of days you take food . There are a number of scholarships available for the students in need and students performing well. Sports related scholarship is also available and every year students performing well inacademics get the merit scholarship based on their ranking.
Campus Life :
SSN is a multi cultured campus there are lots of people from various places studying here.The lre is a good coordination among students they gel well . Students take a lot of initiatives to keep the spark of the college . The major cultural fest is conducted in the month of March called the ' Instincts' and technical fest in the month of October called the 'Invente'.Other small fests from the MBA department and the different clubs keeps happening Talking about Library it has a vivid collection of books. The staffs mention the books to refer from the library for study purpose and they are many available to ensure there is no shortage Classroom amenities are good there is a projector for each classroom and good ventilation . Some department allow students to conduct class in the AC seminar hall during summers. Cricket, football, Kho kho,throwball, basketball are the major sports team of the college and they also have carrom ,table tennis ,badminton and chess
Hostel Facilities :
The food in ladies hostel is not that great because the menu is always fixed and it tends to end up boring . The quality of food is not too bad at the same time not too great also. The hostel is not well furnished or planned.Due to over crowding there a re more number of people put in a room than the actual number which makes it more worse. To apply for hostel there a form that needs to be submitted to the warden which is more than enough for allocation. It is not worth the money we pay

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
