Admission here are according to the NEET Score, I am here because it is near to my place and this college has attached medical college with large patient flow. Hence it was the best choice for me to get admission here. Cut off for BPT here is 250+ in NEET.
This course attaches you with the health care system with adding life to the people, physiotherapy is about teaching people the way of living. Making paralyzed or hospitalised people able to be independent for there daily activities. Faculties here are best at their level and teaching skills are amazing. Each thing here is tought theoretically as well as practically. For medical subjects like surgery and medicine faculties of MBBS are available for the lectures. Exams conducted are terms, prelims and then annual university exam.
Internship is provided by the college itself for 6 month, which consists of clinical postings in every department, a annual project. Unfortunately there is no stipend. But this gives us the chance to learn more and more.
This is the only physiotherapy college where there are campus placement available, previously students for this college has joined child rehab center, One rehab, etc like firms. Many of the students are willing to do masters hence many of them don't apply for the placements.
Total fees per year is 1 lakh 17 thousand rupees, which has to be payed yearly, for all the categories except open category Maharashtra government gives scholarship of 50% for OBC and more for SC & ST categories. scholarship applied is Rajashri Shahu Maharaj scholarship.
Annually sports are conducted here where all the batches participate together. Also cultural fest is organised for a week which includes different days, gathering, convocation ceremony, award ceremony, bollywood night, etc. Numerous Books and journals for all the subjects are available here in the library as well as soft copies. Sports played here are turf cricket, basketball, throw ball, volleyball, athletics , badminton etc. extracurricular activities like medical camps and multi diagnostic camps are held frequently.
Hostel is ok ok, not too good not that bad, it consists of a room for 2 people with college providing a bed, table, chair, cupboards. Common bathroom and toilet is available on each floor of the wing. Mess is attached to the hostel where quality of the food is bit compromised, but manageable.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
