This is best medical college in asia and also here we get more practical and theoretical knowledge than other colleges. Here in AIIMS delhi we got best faculties to teach and we also get posted in OPD from first year so can learn better here than other colleges
The course I'm doing in AIIMS delhi is bachelor of optometry. Optometry is a 3+1 year course with compulsory internship in which we learn about contact lens, refraction, low vision aids, community ophthalmology, and also know to determine different types of disease of eyes
internship is compulsory at AIIMS. In internship we get posted in community hospitals there we learn about community ophthalmology and also we get posted in operation theatre. Here in internship we learn all the aspects that should be learned for doing optometry
In bachelor of optometry we have to do one year compulsory internship. In optometry we do not get placement opportunities but we can apply for pvt limited companies like ziess, boush and lomb. We can also join project or on contract basis at AIIMS
The total fees of course is 425 rupees and other than we have to deposit 1000 rupees and hostel security fees and hostel fees is between 400-500 According to time when you get hostel and time remaining for your tenure
Here at AIIMS delhi we got best campus and social life. Here there are different playgrounds for cricket football basketball tennis etc. and also we get facility of gym at Gymkhana , swimming pool, and also some fest yearly fest are organised like pulse
I got hostel in 2nd year due to shortage of hostel rooms. hostel room are good and 24 hours water and electricity supply and also security for hostels is very good. We have 7-8 mess in campus gives good than we get outside AIIMS campus at minimum price

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
