Remarks :
See AIIMS Delhi is the best medical college of India so no doubt why is chose this But the best thing about this college is academic freedom ,student is not pressurised with the burden of academics ,the attendance system is a bit lenient and overall experience is amazing There is no bad experience as such but ya since it is in Delhi air Pollution remains a concern For taking admission here you need to clear Neet ug exam For general the cut off rank is about 60 And for obc and gen was about 260 My rank was air 239 as I availed obc quota
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose MBBS because here you can serve the society ,get respect and being honest earn thick money The faculties in AIIMS DELHI are top notch what less can you expect from best medical institution of Delhi Despite being editor and publisher of famous books they are very humble ,friendly and approachable The teaching method is all inclusive like there are lectures, case discussion, batch discussions And the most amazing part weekly slide presentation There are total 4 exams 1st mid semester,1st end semester 2nd mid semester and Proff So basically first semester is of two semester and there are two exams per semester The level of exams were moderate if you study even for 1-2 hours daily you can score good marks
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is only one time fee payment of Rs 5500 during the time of admission after which there is no yearly fee for tution,hostel,others This fee is all inclusive , 1000rs of it is refundable To join gymkhana and swimming pool you have to fill a form and pay 100rs monthly There is no food fee during admission like there and many mess and you have to pay and eat like the price of food is kinda less and the food is good And yes the fee of 5500rs is same for all categories
Campus Life :
There are many festivals here The best Asias best medical festi PULSE Every year from 16-22 September There are other intra college fest like INFEST and scientific fest like INSIGHT AIIMS has a gymkhana with a well equipped gym,Olympic level swimming pool, cricket ground,basketball court,football field ,table tennis, tennis court, squash court,dance room ,music room, recreational room ,etc There are many clubs like Lit club, Socult(socio-cultural club) ,Aquisis(Libya club) etc
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is way above average and sometime even very good The menu is vast in different mess with North Indian ,South Indian,Chinese and other cuisine. The hostel is allotted during time of admission and 2 guys live in one room The room is big enough with two beds two cupboards,two study table The hostel fee is include in initial and only fee of Rs 5500

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
