I decided to choose this college as it is ranked very well for the field of law and it is not very near but not too far a college. Just a meeting in college regarding the documents verification for admission took place as soon as the exam scores were out.
I chose this course due to the it's approach which was direct admission into college after my 12th boards just had to give a competitive exam. The faculty in our college is very well educated and they teach very well in the class that it doesnt feel we are sitting in a class even though our lectures are early in the morning the methods used by them are so easy to understand it makes our lecture life enjoyable and doesn't feel any burden. The term exams were shifted due to COVID it affected the first two years of our college then afterwards it changed back to normal routine where we are given the date sheet approx by a month before exams and as long as we have prepared by choosing the right notes the difficulty level is not too high mostly the questions can be seen repeated and ones that are new to us can be written with a little bit of logic and the theory in the notes.
No I have not opted for internship from college I had my own contact so I interned there But the college provides internship. The college provides an internship under well known advocates and they are strict in attendance so if we have opted for it we have to attend the office and the court room daily and also daily updates are given to the college about us.
Yes, the college has a placement and a training cell. But i have not opted for campus placement as I have different plans after graduation The average package offered by our college is 4.5 to 5 lakhs and the highest package i have known is around 10-11 lakhs. The eligibility criteria is just you have to fill a opt in form and payment of 5,000/- if the student gets placed then 4,000/- is returned and if not placed then the amount of 5,000 is not returned but the same amount of courses are provided for betterment of our CV. My plans after degree is either to opt for judiciary or doing an llm abroad.
The total fees for the maharashtra students is 32,000/- only and the breakup is as follows: 1) tution fee- 28444 2) development fee- 3556 The Fees paid by my friends who are outside Maharashtra students is rupees 64,000/- Even scholarships are available in our college every year.
There are many fests that are carried out for eg: a fest know as lawzilla is carried out in the summer for extensive activities including sports, painting, various clubs have been made which serve different interests and we also have a dj night other social intrests are also served various moot court competitions and what not. Our library is vast having all types of books ranging from textbooks to bare acts(the acts which are known as laws). Amenities like canteen, auditorium, good parking and the classrooms are also ventilated and spacious which makes it comfortable for long lectures. Sports clubs like cricket, football, tug of war, badminton, etc have been made and students from all over the college participate and also matches are held which we have a good wining ratio. Many extra curricular activities also take place like poster making, dance competitions and many more.
No, I am a resident of Pune so I live in my home. But the college provides the facilities of hostel. There are many options outside the campus as well if students want they can opt for that as well my friends stay in a hostel nearby our college and pay approx 56,000/ for a year.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
