No GD or PI’s. Admission is directly based on Cet or JEE score. The factors that made me choose this college would be a well-equipped campus and also the connectivity it provided. It was on the outskirts of the city but Wagholi in itself has become a prime location
The course curriculum at my time was updated by the university what we call the 2019 pattern. Back in the day, it used to be affiliated with Pune University. So, Pune University would decide the course curriculum now that JSPM has opened its own University. So maybe they have improved their course curriculum. Faculty: The faculty in my department was mostly average except for the HOD who was highly educated and experienced. The principal is also very much educated and experienced in this field. Yes the college provides scholarships also based on your caste or whatever quota you get into
College officially doesn’t provide an internship mostly you have to look for an internship but some of the faculty members will help you to get an Internship I had done Internship at Y Hills, as a web developer intern
Some placements occur in college a lot of companies come with a package somewhere between 4 lakhs to 10 lakhs. in our batch, there was a recession but still, almost 80 to 90% of the batch was placed so placement is not a big issue rather than that there are a lot of campus placements also because in a single campus, there are two engineering colleges so you get to set in placement Drive of both the colleges
Campus in itself is very nice it’s lush green and the College also has a football ground and a cricket ground apart from that the college also has some clubs and committees I was not part of the committees so I don’t have much idea about it but yeah they do provide it annual functions also take place a various sports events also take place mostly in February or March. when I used to live there there were no hostels allotted to boys officially from college so we had to rent a private hostel but from previous year the college started providing hostel facilities other than that it is very easy to get a room for rent in Wagholi
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
