So when I did some research I came to know about that in Physiotherapy field this is a very good college as in it holds a very reputed among clinicians and hospitals plus Sancheti itself being one of the best orthopedic hospital in the entire country it offers a lot of respect when you graduate from here because they grill you so much that after you get out from this college you can survive in any condition. The admission process goes like you have to give the NEET-UG and be well above cut off to get admission here as the intake is very much limited here and sancheti being a brand in itself so you need to have atleast good average marks to get in the merit list . After your 11th only I'll say start preparing for NEET as the 12 marks don't really matter here because it's just the 50% criteria that you need to fulfill that's it the main goal should be to clear NEET with good marks , go through the past year cutoffs so that you get an idea on how much you need to score .
Physiotherapy in itself is one of the most fascinating and upcoming fields of Medical sciences plus it involves spending more time with the patient when compared to any other field that's why I thought of choosing physiotherapy. The faculty here is very good as in every teacher brings a whole new style of teaching along with their own expertise on how to deal with different conditions and treat patients effectively. The teaching is good although there's scope for improvement as in they can perform better but it's good . The exams are conducted according to the MUHS planner and they keep on changing according to the annual syllabus that MUHS gives to the colleges but it's not so unpredictable as in we get a rough idea before the start of the year only that when will be the exams and so we study accordingly.
So here in the medical field the word internship works a bit differently, after you have completed your course you work as an intern in the college itself that is the college provides you with your hospital duty where you need to work. The stipend is approximately around 1k per month which is very less considering the amount of clinical hours you put in but again as it's a private set up you can't say anything although the students are protesting to increase it but it's totally in the management's hands on what call they want to take .
They do offer placements through college that is various people come from outside to give job offers plus students in this field usually prefer doing masters or working in their hometown as students that study here a major chunk of them are not localites of Pune . Personally speaking I'll prefer you should first be complete your course and by the end you yourself will understand what you want to do like do you want to work or study and apply for masters or set up something of your own . It totally depends on you what you want to do but you'll only get to a conclusion once you enter this course and study about physiotherapy in particular because every option has it's own pro's and cons so it is totally your call what you want to pursue, yes the teachers and very much caring and they do help you in taking the decision if you are confused but again at the end of the day it's you call .
So I was a cobid batch students thus we had this much fees but if you go and search for admissions now it is around Rs140000 only plus if you belong to general category like me you can avail the TATA scholarship and the college also helps you to get that just you have to consistently keep on performing good in all years that is get above 75% to get a good return and if you are a category student than also no issues , the college helps you with it by helping you to get some reimbursements through different government schemes , overall it's a good college fees wise .
So this is one thing I would like to talk about in particular Sancheti college of physiotherapy doesn't have a campus in particular it's just a building although the hospital is very huge and has good patient capacity thus providing good exposure to students but a campus is something where sancheti lacks . There are programs and fests which are conducted by the college as in something or the other is going on in cocurricular activities. The library is also very good to be honest and the availability of the books is also very easy they provide a library card to their students and on that card you can issue the book you want , no worries with that . As sancheti beleive in promoting talents at various levels and for that it also promotes its students to take part in different competitions wherever they want to buy supporting them but in side college they don't do it that much as their emphasis is majorly on education and being the best physiotherapists that's why.
So to be very Frank the food quality of the canteen is average, as I already mentioned earlier that the college being just a building there's shortage of space here and so the canteen is on the terrace and has limited space only so it gets full also very very fast . The quality of food is average only I'll say it's manageable. They don't have a hostel in particular and whenever on asking they say that's under construction so ya that's a proper lacunae which they need to solve .
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
