so the admission process starts in june and for colleges under punjab university there is a need to fill a form called DHE under which u are required to fill your personal details and attach your required documents then there is a preference page on the DHE website in which u can fill your preference and then counselling takes place and appropriate candidates get their preferred colleges on the basis of merit or any reservations
Course Curriculum Overview :
My choice was bcom because I was from commerce background and MCM has very nice placements for bcom students .Our most teachers are PhD and masters there are experienced teachers exams conducted ate twice each semester the 1st ones are MSTs which are of 20 Marks and then in December or May depends on the semester u are in odd semester and even semester respectively the difficulty level of exam is medium neither too easy nor too difficult
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is around 35000 to 40000 for bcom students and before that there Is a need to pay a registration fee every year of rs 900 there are different scholarships like single girl child different courses have different fee structure
Campus Life :
There are different fests conducted in our college for eg holi fest in March diwali fest in October or November and the annual fest of mcm is meraki which is way tooo good at this fest even outsiders are also welcomed and the library of our college is nice u can have any book of your choice NCC NSS are the part of our college sports activities like yoga and all are available Mavaricks is a club run by students of mcm

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
