- The college has a herbal garden in which it is peaceful to be in and the teachers make the experience in the college such a blissful one because the share their own stories and also help us and motivate us to take part in not only study related programs but also the extra curricular activities. The college organizes many events which keeps the college lively and also organises it's annual fest MERAKI which is a two day affair and also diwali and Holi fest.
- The students area is also one of the favourite students spot the canteen and it's food is best, the Nescafe and it's bakery, the chatt shop the stationary shop, bakery and salon make it seem like a whole different world itself in the college.
Dislikes
- The seating area for students is less in the students area and it's a bit difficult to find space to seat and enjoy the free period or leisure time.
- The college should also keep the ground open for everyone's use and not only for the sports and NCC students.
Remarks :
The college is on of the best college's in Chandigarh for Psychology aspirants, and also has a good faculty which made me choose the college, no there was no written test or interview for the admission just had to fill in the admission form and got admitted on the merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to go into the field of psychology and chose the college for same, the faculty of the college is very helpful and understanding and easy to approach and the teachings taught in the lectures are easy to grasp with everyday recalls of whatever has been learnt in the day. The teachers have oral test on weekly basis to enhance the recalling ability.
Internships Opportunities :
The college currently has the cyber sawachh mission internships which is a government internship. The student need to attend the workshop on the day called and need to beactive in doing the work. Students of our college enthusiastically take part in it and the 3rd year UG students even attended the certification ceremony which was done in the presence of Mr. Amit Shah.
Placement Experience :
One should pursue their bachelor's or Masters from the college for the placement opportunities. The Placement Cell organizes workshops and lectures on pertinent topics to equip the students with vital skills that enable them to be productive members of the organization that hires them. During the session 2017-18, more than 200 students were placed in a wide spectrum of reputed companies including Infosys, Wipro, Convergys, Tommy Hilfiger, Ernst & Young, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, HT Media Ltd., Tata Strive, Concentrix, Go Air Airlines, IDSIL, Wise Media, Geeks Technical Solutions, eClerks, Exim Enterprises, Life Cells, Shaping Careers, and Cvent. Highest package offered is 4.8 lcs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid 28202 for the ongoing session which included admission fee and tution fees and Hons fee 889/- per annum (2220/- PU Hons exam fee) Practical fee 900/- per year for all practical subjects (2220/- PU practical exam fee) whereas for submitting the Admission form 900/- had to be paid.
Campus Life :
Life at college is very flexible and easy going and one can feel the lively environment of the college everyday because of the greenery, and events and programs being held regularly and participation of Students being compulsory so that one gets out of stage fear. The college has its own individual western dance team called AAVEG which is run by the college students and the students even organise Holi and Diwali fest in their own.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
