A college to remember
Likes
- One thing I like about this college is the faculty. The teachers are so helpful and supportive and will always guide you towards what is best for you.
- Secondly, the place I spent the most time at is the celebration ground. It is like a lively place in the whole college where you can easily hang out with your friends.
Dislikes
- One thing that I dislike about the college is the timetable. I know it depends upon the subjects you choose, but still they could work little better while framing up a bit schedule for you.
- Another thing is that there is always a seminar or workshop going on in the college that sometimes you are unable to know about each happening in the college.
Remarks :
First of all, I heard about the teachers who taught the course I was interested in. those teachers are quite successful in the field. I did not go through any discussions, interviews or written tests. It was based on merit. The good aspects of this college were the great insightful teachers and how the college is full of green trees. The libraries are stocked With rich books and the college has a lot of facilities to provide. The bad aspect I would see is the long hours that we have to spend in college because of our timetable.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course because I was always interested in studying this subject. Also, the teachers are quite good and successful in their respective fields. They are quite friendly and understand you. They know How to bond with children and teach accordingly. Every semester, there would be a midterm exam, assignments, submissions, and the end-term exam. These exams were always taken on time.
Placement Experience :
The college has a placement drive that keeps you updated about any placement opportunities in the college. It has a placement drive cell which is done by both teachers and students. The college also provides an hourly Basis job in the office for students who need urgent money. This allows them to explore and work and earn money.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee was 30,000 per year. It was paid annually and not on a semester basis. You did not have to pay any extra amount other than the examination fees. They would only ask for the examination fees to be paid later. In case you haven’t paid it along with the admission fee. For my course, the annual fee was never more than 30,000.
Campus Life :
The campus life is great. Meraki Is a very famous fest that happens at this college. Every year. The college also has a lot of groups, clubs and websites for students. The college has a dance society and an English literature society and even publishes its journal. The college also provides various extracurricular activities. Regular seminars or workshops are happening, which help you broaden your knowledge.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
