I belong to a lower middle class family. That's why I wanted a College with law fees. That's why I choose this college. And while taking admission there was no test and nothing at that time. But now you have toe clear entrance test to take admission.
I choose this course because I am week in science and humanities. So the last option was commerce. So I decided to do b.com. faculties of college are knowledgeable and experienced. And there was 4 exam in the year and 2 exam in one semester. 1 is internal and other is external. In internal there are 4 questions where you have to attempt 2 question 15 marks each. And in external you have to attempt 8 questions 5 questions of 5 marks and 3 questions of 15 marks.
I did not opted any internship program. And there was no internship opportunity available with in my college. I can say very very very rearly any internship program they conducted in the college. There was no internship opportunity.
They don't provide placement and internship. But yes sometimes there are some internship program sometimes there are seminars that can help to decide in our future. And there are some other courses also like Vedic maths etc.
The fees structure of college is very low and affordable. In a year we have to pay fees three times. Yearly Admission fees and two time semester exam fees. Admission fees is around 1500-2000 and examination fees is around 1000-1500.
I am a introvert person. So I don't know very much about it but year there were several cultural programs and activities in some special occasion. They give freshers party also. There is NCC pared. And debate competition. And in college fest they invites some garhwali singers.
There was no hostel facilities at all. It's a government college and expecting hostel thier sounds funny. But year building and othere inteucture are good there. And the campus is full of greenery. And there is open campus
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
