I follow my brother's advice when I took admission in the DAV pg college. When I enrolled in the college their was no cuet exam for admission but now if any student want to be a part of the college they have to give cuet exam with good percentile because when no. of student is more than seats then authority give admission to students on the merit basis.
Actually I'm a maths student, but I'm pursuing my graduation in arts because of some career reasons. Qualification of Faculty is minimum PhD in their respective subjects. As a science student I don't have any problem with subject understanding because it's understandable to me but the bad thing about the college is that they don't organise exams on time, there is always delay in exams even in external viva . And I have done my exams so well but they never gave good marks I don't know why but they are bad with exams and results.
No, I have not opted for any internship as I have said that I'm preparing for government examinations. So, I have just kept my focus on my studies. As it's my last year of graduation so college has given us a field subject related to our subject and I'm enjoying it.
I'm preparing for competitive exams specifically for banking sector. So I really don't know much about the internships and placement. If any student is searching for internships and placement they have to work very hard with their grades too because this is the very first step one should take.
Bachelor of arts(BA programme)fee- 1212 and it is constant from the first year. Minute changes in examination fee has seen in the past years.(Like - 750, 850, or 950)but not more than this!! But according to me it's reasonable amount.
Actually activities like sports, society, dance etc all these things takes place in the campus in a very active mode but I don't take part in these activities because I'm preparing for competitive exams so, I don't take part. Library is good but whenever I want my subject's book it's never available in english.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
