- the washrooms are hygenic, the canteen is nice and the drinking system is appreciated
- the seniors are very helpful and there is no ragging
Dislikes
- the college is very crowded and the environment is not good most of the times
- the teachers are experienced and skillfull but the students are not serious about attending the classes
Remarks :
i wasn’t able to afford high fees structure of other college and this particular college provided very low fee structure which was very good for me. Another good thing about here is students can come to college just for giving exams because there is no attendance criteria so people can do coaching or job alongwith persuing their graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it was meeting my earlier studies. The faculties are experienced and skillfull. Their teaching style is very impressive. The exams are held twice per year and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven’t applied for any internship during my course. In future maybe if i got chance i will definitely do it. Also i was also doing a job during my first year and went only to give her exams and it didn’t bothered me.
Placement Experience :
There are no campus placements and this is the worst thing about there. You can apply for placement outside the campus and look for a job as per your field. But there is no facility of placement inside the campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee structure is very affordable for students, my fee is around 2090 coming from weaker sections and is beneficial for them in many ways. For bsc it is 2190 for the first year and even less for second and third year. Reservations for sc st’s is also there so it helps people even more.
Campus Life :
There is a library so you can issue the books as per the need. You can return it back after semester ends. It provides every book. Fest are held every year and it brinhs joy to students. Anti ragging clubs are also initiated.
Hostel Facilities :
there is no hostel facility at dav college dehradun. Students are living near the college. Most of them come from home and others are staying in rent near the college. Morever it doesn’t affect anything for them.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
