Remarks :
The thing that made me to choose this college is its discipline, studying environment and many more . The professors of college is very good and kind hearted. They always support to the students in every situation. The admission is very simple , just you to fill online form then the cut off list comes after a week then you have to go to the department then you can take admission. If your name doesn't comes in the cutoff list then you can also go directly to the department and you can taalk to the professors. They only ask the the hons subject marks if your marks will be good you can directly get the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen the economics hons Because I have a intrest in the economics . I want to know about to the economics that's the main motive of me for taking the economics. The most important thing I want to say as a personal experience the economics professor are very nice and kind hearted they always help me in the studies . All the professors are very Frank. And the last thing about the examination in every year there are 2 semester so you have to give every year 2 main exam as end sem to promote in the next semester . And before end semester the professors are taking mid semester of 20 marks.
Internships Opportunities :
From this year the internship has started for the students . And during the internship they are taking you outside like bhubaneswar, Pune , banglore, Mumbai ,delhi . This year we are going odisa for the internship in the KIIT , parleg biscuit company and many more places .
Placement Experience :
There is no criteria for the for the placement . The recruiter comes to the they disscus with the students about there intrest and check your profile and after that call will come from the recruiter afterwards .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College is taking 17000 per semester it means whole year the fees structure of ba economics is 34000. And fees goes down after 2 or 3 semester it takes approx 16000 . And every year we get 18000 scholarship . It varies as your income certificate which you have to submit.
Campus Life :
Gossner College is almost every month organising a fest or any functions . The youth fest is organising ones a year and program are conducted every month as per any celebration. Here the Library is also opened for the students as per the specific day has given to the every students when they can issue books and study. Gossner college is also participating in every sports as inter college and its also organising a football tournament every year . Here you also can join clubs like ncc, sports and many more.
