YCL A college that turned out to be surprisingly good
Likes
- The college campus is pretty good surrounded with lush greenery. The teaching faculty and even the helping faculty is good. They are soft-spoken and help every student with any problem.
- Another aspect I like is that the teachers use additional tools to help teach the syllabus like using powerpoint presentations, or organising seminars.
Dislikes
- I dislike the washroom facilities and I also dislike the lengthy process of filling the admission and exam form.
- I dislike the parking situation. Sometimes, it is too crowded. I also dislike the situation where students aren't informed about non-conducting of lectures on time.
Remarks :
No, I didn't face any group discussions apart from asking a few people how the syllabus was taught in this college. I asked in the platform Reddit. I chose this college mainly because the faculty had a good rating. The campus is also good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The difficulty level was easy to moderate of the exams. I found the syllabus inclusive of a variety of law subjects. It covers many legal subjects right from the first year to the final year. The exams, although delayed due to the Corona virus, were conducted in a timely manner.
Internships Opportunities :
The college has made available certain internships not often though. There was a seminar on IPR law and the same was offered as an internship afterwards too. Another initiative taken by the college is that they organise these informative seminars almost monthly.
Placement Experience :
I have no idea about the plans after graduation offered by the college. There is no placement cell in our college as I have seen in other colleges. Many students pursue their after-graduation plans on their own.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
it is increasing by around 1 thousand to 1.5 thousand per year. In first year it was around 8,000 for the whole year excluding 1000 for exam fee. Since then it has started increasing and now in final year it is around 12,000 excluding exam fee.
Campus Life :
To be very frank, there is no such social life or clubs apart from the law subjects. The latest I got to know was about a Green Club being formed. Apart from that, there are NSS camps every year where students participate in wide numbers. The college organises yearly trips to The Parliament, Supreme Court and the like.
Hostel Facilities :
No I have not opted for hostel. But my fellow friends who live in the college alloted accomodation do complain at times about the facilities not being up-to-date. The food is also not provided in the college hostel.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
