University of Delhi which is best known for it's academic excellence and lot of opportunities. It offers variety of courses including B.Tech like M.Sc, B.Sc.etc. So we can trust on the University. Overall it's quite good with campus opportunities and extra curricular activities.
If we look on curriculum it's quite updated because Faculty of Technology is following NEP since 2023.So ,syllabus is updated for every branch and offerings other subjects other than core branch subjects.
This is our 1st batch so there's no data for internships & placements . But we are working on our skillset so that we can crack off campus internships as well in good companies like Google, Microsoft etc.
The fees is 2.24 lacs per year . It's quite high and going to increase 10 to 15k every year. But the institution is also providing fee relaxation based on the annual income criteria irrespective of any category. Eligibility is such a way that if your parental annual income lies between 4 to 8 lacs pr below 4 lacs ..you can claim 50% & 90% concession respectively. Above 8 lacs there's no concession..you have to pay the full fees in this case.
Campus life is not there for now.But it's new building is under construction which is yet to be completed next year 2025 that's what the UoD and news articles says. UoD has a Central Science Library which is stocked with lot of books with different editions. Clubs & societies aren't currently under procedure because this is our 1st batch so need to set up everything by own .
For now there are no hostels .So you have to either take any PGs or flat nearby the campus. But in future may be they will be providing hostels as students face so many problems if there r no hostels even it's an engineering college.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
