The fee is quite decent and affordable which made me to choose this college among other. As my +2 percentage was good so I didn't had to appear for any of the above mentioned criteria. One thing I really like about the curriculum is that they organise seminars where high profile personalities like high court jurdge, top B-school alumini and entrepreneurs come as guest and speakers to share their knowledge, experience and more. The thing I hate is Assignment, project, learning records which is just needed but none of the students learn anything from this its just a waste of approzx 1000 INR per subject.
They charge very high for EODs, back paper and more. The mid sem examination is of 20 marks which doesn't require any minimum percentage of attendance. Back then I was from the commerce background I was pretty much sure to do BBA and later an MBA. According to me BBA is more of a professional course and helps be a more groomed and overall confidence, etiquette in a more profound way. Most of the faculties are doctorate degree holder or persuing to be, having a well experience of teaching.
I didn't opted for any intership but will definitely inb5th sem. In our campus there are several manufacturing units like GRAM TARANG, SKYYRIDER ELECTRIC, transformer manufacturing units and also in the admission cell.
Around 80% students got placed with an average package of 3LPA and highest was 6LPA. Recruiter such as HDFC BANK, ICICI BANK,ASIAN PAINS, RELIANCE came. Off campus placements were also successful but most of the students choosed to an MBA .
The one time admission fee is Rs. 23,000 which includes the first year examination fee of Rs. 7000. Per semester we have to pay Rs. 33,000+3500 examination fee. In the first year I opted for hostel which cost Rs. 80,000 per year and it should be paid at the time of admission itself. The university also provides bus service which was Rs. 30,000 per year. Hostel fee this year has been increased by Rs. 10,000. I got fee deduction of Rs. 16,500 as sports quota scholarship.
The campus size is 40 acres with a preety infrastructure and environment. Having swimming pool, cricket ground which is not owned by the university where students can't play generally or do running in the morning, no indoor badminton court which is mess. Also involves dance, drama, mime and other CSR Activities. TARANG BAZAR is an event conducted to promote entrepreneurship skill among students it is in the last month if February, GAJAJYOTI is the annual fest of 4 days in the first week of March.
Last year I opted for hostel and Mess food for 80,000 INR food is worse. Hostel is decent. Drinking water is clean, purifier and awesome to drink. During the councelling phase I was told that in one room there will be only three students but later it was 5 which was scam. Food something were half cooked also chicken when taken bites blood comes out of it and insects are also found in food.
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
