- The prior thing I don’t like about my college is particularly staffs and faculty
- Faculty which are assigned to us are pretty average because there is no proper communication and interaction
Remarks :
In the existing scenerio, there are a lot competition in getting a government seat like wise there is also a lots of things to keep in mind before joint private colleges but I did not faced any problems here while getting admission over here
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this Professional Course Bachelors in Computer and Application because This a three year course which will provide Same scopes as BTECH and there are six semesters which consists of four subjects and it contains core and basic knowledge about computer Science
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for Internships in three to four companies like - I did internship in internpe I worked as an Intern on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I did internship in Skill Garage which was a summer internship which was on web development. I Worked as an intern in Bharat Intern where I did a virtual internship on Machine Learning. I did Web Development And Python Programming Internship from Codsoft.
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities in GIET is Quite good for other branches but for our branches companies are giving more priority to BTECH and MTECH and MBA students and we people who are doing professional courses like BCA and BBA we all are getting less opportunities for placements. I will pursue My Master’s In Computer Engineering after that only I will think about job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year-wise fees we pay is ?140000.there is no accurate tuition fees Registration fees is ?1500 admission fees is ?60000 there is no development fees and lab fees but there is association fees ?300 which is compulsory
Campus Life :
The life in the Campus is Very Superficial And very Enlightening which brings obvious Pleasure to every student . The college provides fest twice a year one is department fest which is techno fest and other is college fest. There is a big library in the college which is named as knowledge House which has a lots of manifested System inside it A proper functioning Wifi Proper lights a variety of books and a lot. There is a big playground where both Boys and girls can play . There is NCC for both Make and females State wise games are there and more.
Hostel Facilities :
Talking about food quality and menu of Hostel I will honestly say that there is no Planck which offers food like home we have to adjust Everywhere but I will say that food in GIET is good as per it is based on Odia Menu. I am a girl and I stay outside the college We girls are alloyed hostel in the town area.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
