Remarks :
I took it so that i can prepare for gmat along side but it wasnt possible as the schedule is hectic. We do have group discussions and interviews and exposure is there but you have to be actually yourself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I think the study material is fine but the course curriculum is tight. You have almost 50 exams per semester and all of them are important. Also attendance marks are different. Every exam gives you 4-5 marks so missing one, is losing everything.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is 147000 and you have to pay 5k every semester for giving exams. The management quota fees is 200000 and admission fees is extra. Also the donation is around 300000 extra and also the afternoon and morning batch differs. You usually find students with donation in morning batch.
Campus Life :
I havent got to experience much of a campus life here. Im a hosteller and there isnt much to do. There are societies you can take part in but other than that there isnt much you can do. So it hets boring.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is quite tight based on the fees. Fees is higher and the food is not that good as well even though it is better htan the tiffins. Hostels are clean and other facilities are provided and there is no tension of electricity bill as it is included.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
