- The food of the college canteen is too good.

Dislikes
- The thing I don’t like about college is their examination pattern.
- The amount fees charges every semester for exams.
Remarks :
The college environment is very peaceful, there is no such raging happens in the institute. The good aspect of college is that teachers are very professional and helpful. The bad asoect which i think is the examination system of the college. The college tooks 2 CES which is of 10 marks, 2 internal which is of 40 marks and 1 external that is of 100 marks, these all test are conducted in a single semester. The exam which is conducted by college for admission in BBA is BUMAT. It is a undergraduate management aptitude test. During my admission students upto 4000 ranks got admission. Some of the students does not appear during orientation or might take withdrawal after.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i have to run my family business after the college so BBA would be helpful to me. The teachers of the institute have good qualifications and most of the teachers have done their PHDs also. The exam are conducted in a gap of 20-30 days. Holidays are also given for the final exams.
Internships Opportunities :
I got internship in crown plaza hotel. I was intern in their marketing team. I have to analyse the work of the team memners and have to learn from them. There was no stipend was provided to me. The working hours was from 10-6.
Placement Experience :
The college provides every student with placements. There are various companies such as naukri.com, automobile industry etc. The highest package offered was around 20 lakhs per annum by a CA firm. College also provide limited job in college itself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first year college charges us with ?147000 and from the second year they increased the fees by 5% so now the fees paid is ?154,350. Every semester we have to pay about ?5000 as examination fees and alumni fees is paid one time that is ?1500 and if a student has backlog in exam then for 2 backlog ?2500 has to be paid and for 4 backlogs ?5000 has to be paid and for more than 4 subjects ?7500 has to be paid. The tution fees which i memtioned for the first year is inclusive of caution fees, registration fees, development fees and lab or library fees.
Campus Life :
Various fest are conducted during the year and they are conducted in the month of September October and January. These fest consists of various competitions and prizes are also given. The library consists of huge collection of various books. The library also provides students with e-library through which students can easily read any book online for free. The classrooms are fully AC classrooms and consist of smart boards. Our college has basketball, cricket, football and badminton ground with their equipments our college also has a indoor games room which has carrom, chess and table tennis. Sports event are also conducted in the institute evey year during September month. Various socities are also there in college:- Flash - photography society Kasid- poetry society Swaang- music society Kalakriti- art society There are more societies also.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
