- The infrastructure is really remarkable specially the School of Architecture. The faculty is very approachable and kind mannered.
- The campus is lush green and wonderful in order to carry forward the next chapter of your academic journey
- There are multiple well equipped canteens and eateries that cater to various needs
Dislikes
- The location of the campus is on the outskirts of the city which makes travelling as a day scholar quite a problem at times
- Some of the infrastructure requires to be made new to cater to the latest needs of students
Remarks :
The holistic approach of this institution is what made me want to join it. The independence to explore things myself with liberty is something I looked forward to and got as well. The admission process includes of a written test of MCQs including subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Aptitude and General Knowledge. Clearing this round, the candidates will have to attend an interview rounds which includes of a Group Discussion and a Micro Presentation on any topic the interviewer presents to you on which you'll have to speak for 1-2 minutes. I prepared for these rounds through NCERT 11-12th books and used YouTube tutorials to enhance my aptitude and GK.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum although autonomous is very similar to the VTU structure. It's a good balance of both. The syllabus is updated on yearly basis to keep track of the on going trends in industrial technology. Majority of the faculty are well equipped in knowledge of their subjects and are Doctrate holders in their fields. Exams are conducted in the form of internaL CIAs (continuous internal assessments) followed by a Mid Semester Exam and an End Semester Exam these examinations are usually a month apart
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements depend on the company recruiting the average cutoff percentage is around 65% as a criteria for placement. Few recent recruiters include L&T EduTech, Goldman Sachs, and Wipro. The highest package is around 25LPA and the average around 8-9LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is around 60-70%. My plans after getting the degree include to work as UI UX Designer at leading creative professional companies and then proceed to higher studies in Industrial Design.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee structure is of ?2 Lakhs inclusive of only academic tution fee. Karnataka residing students avail a scholarship of 10% on the yearly academic tution fee. Additional costs of hostels/PG add up to an additional ?1-2Lakhs on the academic tution fee.
Campus Life :
There are many fests held through the year starting from Novatos(June/July) which is a freshers carnival Darpan(August) which is a pedagogy league including cultural competitions of all kinda, Bhasha Utsav(September) which is the annual ethnic day, Magnovite (December/January) which is the annual flagship event including tech and cultural events, Magnificat(December) which is the annual Christmas carnival, Blossoms (March) which is an inter college cultural festival that includes a fantastic procession including members of all branches of the University participating and showing a spirit of unity.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
