Actually I opted this course cause I basically like electronics but that does not mean I don't know the coding I have covered them both because you seriously don't know how the market changes. Coming to the qualification for the faculty there are Assistant Professor, Professor and some of them also have Doctorates, see I'll be honest this qualification is not entirely useful as a teacher with Dr sometimes really sucks at teaching not all but some, but Asst Prof are cooler and are friendlier with the students also good at teaching the subject. We usually have internals(CIA's), Lab exam, and ESE. The CIA's carry around 60% of your grade,20% is from ESE and 15% for lab exam ,5% for attendance. These exams are conducted 2 weeks once or some even conduct some tests daily if that person is a psychopaths jk;) and duration for ESE is 3 hours.
Students with 60 % of overall aggregate are eligible for placements. Companies like Schneider, Saber, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Epsilon and other have reached over uni. The highest that they have offered is 13LPA and average is around 4LPA, but if you are from Computer Science background then you do have multiple chances of getting placed , me being from ECE I got placed in IT don't expect for core jobs, Almost 60% students are getting placed (mostly from CS).
Read Full ReviewThe faculty's are very friendly and help us in so many things for our own benefits their teaching method is so understandable and they are ready at any time to guide us if we working on a project or research.Overall course curricuum engages us though every thing both practical and theoretical so it is easy to follow through the course.
Placement is the main reason for which i opted this college there will be so many opportunities for students to get placement, the eligiblity crieria is that student should not have a current backlog on the respective course, there will be companies coming to college and conducting test and interviews for checking our knowledge some companies are TATA, L&T, COGNIZANT , CARBON CONSTRUCTION ETC.
Read Full ReviewI have taken ECE because of my interest. The faculty of my department are well professional. The teaching method will be excellent. The examinations will be happening in the names of CIA semester and semester in the difficulty level is moderate to tough.
Placements and job opportunities will be good and it will be based on the student performance. College will be getting all the MNCs and start-ups. The percentage of students will be varying year by year.
Read Full ReviewI have chosen this course because this course have great demand these days amd all the faculties who teach here are well scholared. All the term exams occur exactly at the schedules time and all the exams test our skills to the greatest extend
The campus offers placements. Students can apply for placements from their 7 th semester onwards. For attempting The placements a student must have a minimum 75%marks in all subjects.the most visited companies for placements are Siemens, cognizant, phizer and so on The highest package offered last year was 36 lakh per annum and the average package is 8 lakh per annum about 80% of students gets placements. I have plans of getting a job
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum although autonomous is very similar to the VTU structure. It's a good balance of both. The syllabus is updated on yearly basis to keep track of the on going trends in industrial technology. Majority of the faculty are well equipped in knowledge of their subjects and are Doctrate holders in their fields. Exams are conducted in the form of internaL CIAs (continuous internal assessments) followed by a Mid Semester Exam and an End Semester Exam these examinations are usually a month apart
The eligibility criteria for the placements depend on the company recruiting the average cutoff percentage is around 65% as a criteria for placement. Few recent recruiters include L&T EduTech, Goldman Sachs, and Wipro. The highest package is around 25LPA and the average around 8-9LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is around 60-70%. My plans after getting the degree include to work as UI UX Designer at leading creative professional companies and then proceed to higher studies in Industrial Design.
Read Full ReviewI wanted to do a course other than computer science, and thought ece might have a future. The faculty is highly qualified, mostly phds from top institutes, but really formal and non-flexible. The mid-sem took place in 3 months after the college began and end-sem will take place in 6 months. The tests are difficult.
The placement percentage is high, whereas the package offered is low. You need over 75% CGPA by 3rd year to be eligible for recruitment. 97% of those who get over 75% CGPA get placed, with last years average placement being ?3.4Lacs and highest being ?32 Lacs. Few of the top recruiters are Infosys, Wipro and Cisco. I’m personally planning to go abroad for higher studies after getting the degree.
Read Full ReviewCourse curriculum is very detailed in the first year all the students have common subjects irrespective of their btech course which include physics chemistry maths etc in the second year we get segregated according to our courses and have specialised subjects
Not much idea about the placements as I myself am in second year currently but as for internships there are many external internships for which you have to pay so that you gain the experience but students can venture out and find their own internships too
Read Full ReviewThe faculty is nice. I am from the mechanical department and in our department the faculty is very nice. The course overall if you are looking, is a little old. New updates in our course are fewer. For exams, the question is prepared by the faculty itself. The difficulty level is a little hard. The toughness of the exam depends on the faculty who prepares the questions. There were no such fee hikes or financial assistance.
Placements are there in the college. The eligibility criteria are simple. The student should have more than 60 per cent and should not have any backlogs. I. Mechanical placements are a little low. For mechanical department companies like RE Daimler etc have come.
Read Full ReviewI choose engineering in CS with Data science. As we know the field of AI & DS is rapidly growing. So when I was planning to choose my career I was interested in this field and looking for a good college in Banglore. The faculties are well qualified and have a Doctorate in their Domain. They also take classes very nicely and help us to improve. There are 3 internal exams and 1 end-semester exam every semester. The 1st and 3rd internals are called CIA and it is conducted for 20 marks. The second internal is a mid-sem exam which is conducted for 50 marks. The last end-sem exam is conducted for 100 marks. There are labs every week and a midsem and endsem exam for the practicals. The minimum mark required to pass the exam is 40 %.
Christ university also provides good placement for students. From this year onwards they have started a new system which provides a 2-hour session on placement training for all the students which provides good and quality information for the students to grab a good placement.
Read Full ReviewWell, I chose this course because of my interest in it. The faculty is good and they are well qualified many of them have good teaching experience. Well, there is an assessment every 30 days approx with moderate difficulty. The fee is what I mentioned above and it may vary year after year. The university also provides scholarships for backward students. There are many other programs as well like if you are interested in studying abroad they have that too.
One reason I chose this college was its exposure because many students come from different parts of the country which will change their personality. It also improves your holistic development. And finally, Bangalore is a hub for good placements and start-ups. If you have a decent amount to invest and need good exposure then Christ University is for you. For boys, they have a hostel inside the campus itself the amount that I gave above is close to the course fee with the hostel fee. I cannot accurately tell the amount as it may vary year after year. Also for food, you would have to separately pay it is not included in your hostel fee.
