- The college has a massive campus, with all the amenities one can think of.
- The focus of college on overall holistic growth of the student rather than just academic.
Dislikes
- The faculty here is extremely strict and formal, teacher aren’t flexible with dues, check the paper strictly and most of the teachers and students being Christian Malayalis.
- The rules, the college is really strict about attendance and makes you pay a fine of ₹700 during exams if your attendance is less than 75% and a fine of ₹10,000 if you get a back. There is a really strict dress code of formals for boys and formals and Indian formals for girls. The hostel takes a hefty fine for every small mistake you make
Remarks :
To be frank, this college was my last option. I wanted a college in banglore, so I applied for all the private colleges in banglore, I got in Jain and Christ. You need to register on the website, pay the Entrance fees, then give the entrance computer based test at your nearest centre (they’ll let you choose). If you get selected, you’ll have an interview, and if u pass that then you can come to the orientation and pay the fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to do a course other than computer science, and thought ece might have a future. The faculty is highly qualified, mostly phds from top institutes, but really formal and non-flexible. The mid-sem took place in 3 months after the college began and end-sem will take place in 6 months. The tests are difficult.
Placement Experience :
The placement percentage is high, whereas the package offered is low. You need over 75% CGPA by 3rd year to be eligible for recruitment. 97% of those who get over 75% CGPA get placed, with last years average placement being ?3.4Lacs and highest being ?32 Lacs. Few of the top recruiters are Infosys, Wipro and Cisco. I’m personally planning to go abroad for higher studies after getting the degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee for electronics and communications for the first two years is 2.25 Lacs, the next two years is 2.65 Lacs. Registration fee was 5000, hostel fees is ?60000 per year for triple sharing. You have to purchase suits, jerseys and lab coats from them which all together cost around ?4000. For CS core the tuition fee is ?2.45Lacs for first year and ?2.65Lacs for the rest.
Campus Life :
There are many fests taking place each year (over 10). Library is well equipped with books. Classroom has a large blackboard, a projector but no cameras. Sports is highly promoted, with a large football field, 3 basketball courts, a volleyball court, a gym, and a sprint track. A lot of cocirriculars is also encouraged, from dance, singing, literature, photography to gaming. There are many clubs as well. A welfare club, an NGO, a general improvement club, sports club, and tech-learning club too.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel has two kinds of rooms, 4-sharing and triple sharing. One being ?48,000 and other ?56,000. Hostel doesn’t have a mess, but has 8 canteens of different cuisines where you’ll have to pay for every meal. The quality of the living isn’t the best, the geyser breaks down, chairs break, is extremely strict and charge a hefty fine for not doing the biometric twice a day during the specific hours, or coming late after curfew hours. You’ll have to apply 3 days beforehand for a leave from hostel and are supposed to turn off the room lights by 10:30pm. You’re not allowed to bring any edibles or food items inside the hostel. There is no girls hostel available.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
