Likes
- The college faculties are kind and helpful in every manner and have a friendly attitude towards the students. Their teaching prowess is fun and lively.
- The infrastructure and the college in general has a vintage feel to it. The campus though small has wonderful environment with blooming trees and flowers which are aesthetically pleasing.
Dislikes
- The college puts too much emphasis on the studies discarding the other parts of a college experience such as sports and other extracurricular activities.
- The college is too adhere towards the set of rules and boundaries which makes it feel like high school all over again.
Remarks :
I was attracted to the idea of this college by its affordability and the reputation it holds as one the leading educational hub for studies after graduation. The admission process was fairly simple and straightforward. I simple put my name up for consideration and filled up the admission form with the required documents. A selection list was put up with my name on it among others. Then I simply verified my documents and paid the admission fees concluding my admission into thr college. I did not had to go through any exam or interview as such.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I opted for seemed fit for my requirements. I am a student of English language and literature and the course provides a varied knowledge of the field. The professors are seasoned veterans who have been teaching for quite a while. Their teaching methods are solid and at the same time easily comprehensible and understood by any who pays attention. The rest of the college faculty is also very helpful and friendly. The exams are not too difficult per se, anyone who attends lectures regularly and pays attention in class could culminate good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
I had recently finished my summer internship at a news firm- "The Times of India" Ranchi branch but was not sanctioned to me by the college rather I got in through the company's internship program. The college provides no such internship program to its students.
Placement Experience :
There is no campus placement offered by the college. The college just hands out a degree and let's the students fend for their own. After getting the degree I plan on joining a news firm in the hopes of becoming an editor.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for the students of reservedcategory is rupees 3000 including all the charges and for general and other categories the fee amounts to about 3500 rupees. I you are a female though you pay half that amount. There are small convenience fees amounting to around 500 rupees beyond which you have to pay nothing. The only amount you have to pay to the college for the remainder of the year is the semester examination fee of about 1000 rupees which needs to be paid twice a year. Not to worry though cause the government provides a scholarship for all students which returns all of the admission fee and then some.
Campus Life :
The campus is not extravagant but has its features. The college hosts a youth festival in the beginning of the year followed by other small festivals in the later half of the year. The library is huge with the availability of thousands of concerning various courses all of which is accessible by a simple show of the college id. The college lacks in terms of sports events and extracurricular activities. The college does not have it's own ground. It has a basketball court though. Social clubs are also a rarity, the only prominent club being the book clubs headed by the class president.
Hostel Facilities :
I do not live in a hostel rather I stay at a rented room some 5 kms from the college in a locality called Kumhartoli. The college does facilitates a hostel of it's own. Rather most of the students stay in pgs in the areas surrounding the college. The area is quite affordable with prices as low as 2000 rupees per month but it is hard for men to find a place for stay compared to women.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
