- The college life is what is like about my college, the freedom you get here is incomparable to any other. You have to keep 75% attendance, but that is only out issue, nobody is going to indulge in our attendance. The independency we get here is one of the main factors about college
- Infra is pretty vast, you'll get tired to walk once through the college, but hey, its fun. You have a lot of space for recreational stuffs. To play there are many grounds.
Dislikes
- I don't think i dislike anything about my college, but the students here can be a little more cool, 50% of the students have belt tied on their neck, which is kinda bummerish.
- The one badside is how far from the college is from town. Its like 1 km from town, in a hill, the views are all nice. But its on top of a hill. The college is worth the hill, so no issues
Remarks :
For admission, i had to attend, KEAM entrance examination, and had to get the cutoff rank for this college and this course. A Kerala Official Entrance exam was the only step to get into this college, we had pass through allotment process to get admitted. Factors made me choose this college; MACE is one of the top engineering colleges in kerala, ranking between 3 and 5, mostly. The college is a government aided college, mean; the management is an organization, but the funding comes from government, having a 62+ years of legacy. For me the ratio of Quality*Affordability Made me choose here. As it is government college, affordability is so good. The atmosphere in this college is pretty good. The college standard also went beyond my expectations. The presence of so many extra curricular activities will get a good exposure to the necessary skillset. Also the placement opportunities this college acquire due to its name, is a very goof factor
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course, purely because, none other course got my spark. Even though i feel trapped, the fact any other course would have made me feel loose is what is rely on. B.tech is hard, but its worth the hardships About curriculum, its so fast paced, you gotta have to dedicate your time and energy in this course to get better, that is true for all proffessional courses. Faculties are pretty good in doing bewhat they are supposed to do, for industry based knowledge we have to work on our own, a hard truth. Quality of education is a relative term here, i heard different opinion from many of the people here. In a semester, you'll have 6 theory, 2 labs, 2 series exam, 1 external exam. Time management is the issue in the difficulty of exam level
Internships Opportunities :
KalkiTech: developmental intern, stipend is roughly 15k Many others companies take interns from MACE, mostly projects that are in development phase are the subject. If you have enough skillset, internship and traineeship is not an issue for you, for CS department, you have lot of online opportunites and for other departments, there is lot of offline internship available.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria is having no arrear or 1 or 2 supply is also fine (depends on recruiter). TCS, Geodis,CTC, IBM, Kalki tech, KeyValue, Federal Bank, ShobhaBuilders These are the major companies that comes to our college. There is manymore companies too. The placement opportunities are also varies for various departments. Highest is about 30LPA and average is about 7LPA. The getting recruited amount varies based on department, the skillset and exposure to industry. But in 2022 roughly 600+ offers and 400+ were placed. My plan after getting the degree is to get into a company and develop myself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For tution the annual fees is 9650/- annually. For Exam Registration: its around 2600/ Semester For Hostel fees: around 4000-6000/Month For Miscellaneous: its around 5000/Yearly Caution Deposit is about 18,000 for us. For category Student, there is concession in all of the above mentioned fees. There is no extra fee
Campus Life :
There is basically two fest Takshak: the tech fest in odd sem Sanskriti: the arts fest in even sem. The library is a humongous place someone who needs knowledge. It is literally huge. The class is as what you expect in a college classroom in 2024. You have to consider the software based interaction in class normal. Sports is pretty possible here in this college, but the amount of student interested is so low. The lack of peers might be an issue. Extracurricular activities include basically social group, for that we have a hella lot of club and organisations; IEEE, ASME,SAE,ASCE,ISTE. And Clubs like NetxMACE, TEDxMACE, MACEMUN, Debate Club, OutclassCrew, MMC, MACE Atheletes, the list goes on..
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are pretty cheap compared to other cities, it is roughly 4000 to 6000 per month with a caution Deposit of 25000. The admission to hostel is limited by seat, for following years, you can get into hostel by having good grades. Food quality is pretty good, to have chicken or meat in the evening and fishfry in the noon for every day is pretty lavish for a hosteller at the rate of 2000 to 4000 hostel fees. Registration process is done after the admission process, its easy The hostel is just in the sight of the college

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
