I chose MACE because it is one of the prestigious institutions in Kerala for doing a Bachelor in Technology. The college was started in the 1960s and now it is one of the top colleges in Kerala. There is a common entrance exam called KEAM. Students need to write the KEAM entrance exam and the ones having good rank can join the college. KEAM is out of 960 marks and it has physics, chemistry, and maths sections in it. The syllabus of 11th and 12th standard is to be studied for this entrance exam. There are no interviews or GDs after it. Students can join the college through allotments after the rank list is published.
I chose Electrical and Electronics Engineering as it is a NAAC-accredited course at our college. It is also one of the streams that was started in the college from its early times. So it has a good set of faculties, infrastructure, and laboratories. The labs of the college are well maintained and the college has the second biggest and well-equipped laboratories in the state. The end-semester exams are conducted according to the university schedule which is followed by all the affiliated colleges of the state. The internal exams are conducted timely after the portions are completed by the faculties. The exams have application-level questions that help the student to apply the theories taught in the class. The fee structure is fixed and students having reservations get scholarships.
No, I did not opt for any internships. However, students who have an interest in doing internships can do it as the college provides good opportunities to find it. Students need to do mini projects every semester starting from 2nd year. A main project is to be done in the final year which has to be compulsorily done by the students of all departments. There will be a faculty guide for the project for all the groups and each group can consist of 3 to 4 members.
There are ample placement and job opportunities available as many companies approach college for placements. Students without arrears can sit for the campus placement drives. The TNP( Training and Placement Cell) of the college is active and provides training for students to attend the drives. Almost 70% of the students get placed in various comps every year. The average package is about 5lpa. Students get up to 10-12lpa placements as well if are well-skilled. I got interested in management and business-related jobs when I got into my final year. So I am looking forward to writing CAT and getting into a good college to pursue my Post Graduation in MBA.
Apart from academics the college also has a very good social life. The campus has lots of trees and places where students can relax and enjoy nature. The college has a perfect location as we can have access to both hillside as well as beaches. There are mainly two fests conducted in a year. The tech fest is named TAKSHAK and is the national-level tech fest of the college. It is usually conducted in odd semesters. There are many technical shows and classes arranged for the students to engage themselves and gain knowledge. The second fest is the cultural fest. It is called Sanskriti and is usually conducted in the even semester. There will be many cultural events conducted which help students to showcase their cultural talents. Also, there are many clubs like IEEE, SAE, ASME, Tinkerhub, etc which help students build a good profile and have a lot of experience. The college has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Mess facilities are also provided.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
