Life at Mar Athanasius College of Engineering
Remarks :
The college is well known and among the top colleges in Kerala. It is also government-aided and offers a variety of courses. Admission is granted based on your score on the KEAM entrance test. Cut-off scores go in the order of cse, ece, eee, mech, and civil. The entrance test is easy if you prepare well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as it is a promising one and has scope for many job opportunities. Faculty is very qualified with multiple degrees while the teaching method is the same as everywhere else, reading off slides. Although few good teachers make the subject interesting. The term exams are on time as are the results of each. Exams are moderate level and depend on your preparation. Questions are from the syllabus itself. The cost to study is relatively less as it is government-aided and scholarships are granted to deserving students.
Campus Life :
There is one fest per semester. Tech Fest and Arts Fest alternate between semesters. The weeks leading up to these fests are full of programs and fun events students can look forward to. The library is very large with a large collection of books. Every classroom has a projector and almost all classes are taken with the help of it. There are fewer sports events even though there are opportunities. A lot of clubs are available for students to choose to be a part of. The college hostel gives out good food and also changes the menu every year.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
