- Mar Athanasius college of engineering campus is green and the ambience is very enjoyable it is a residential campus with all amenities available on and around the campus.
- The students live in the hostel on campus. There are at present 13 hostels on the campus out which 10 are for boys and 3 girls.
Dislikes
- The hostel facility is average. Food is not that good in the mess.Rooms are very small, in the first year we used to accomodate five people in one room. and medical facilities are there but not that good.
- Not much extra curricullar activities are conducted in the college. College need to improve on this situation.
Remarks :
KEAM and +2 are the exams required to get into any of the government, aided and private colleges. A student should score his best in +2 physics, chemistry, and biology to have a good rank. After considering the +2 result and the KEAM result we get a particular rank that will help us to get into these colleges. According to the rank, students have to give their interested colleges for allotment. I got a 4381 rank in Computer Science (Data Science) at this college. I got this college on my 2nd allotment. This is the college I chose by discussing a lot with my parents and senior friends who have studied in this college. The reviews from those students were good so I decided to join this college. The college conducts a lot of functions. In the first semester, there is a Tech fest called TAKSHAK and in the second semester, there is an art fest called Sanskriti. Both the programs are conducted in a very wonderful manner.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because nowadays it is said that the scope for Data science students is more in future. All the teachers in the school are very friendly and behaves well, the way the teacher teaches the students is good. All the faculties in the college are nice. In one semester two series of exams are conducted and a final semester exam. The exam difficulty level is normal and can be easily cracked if we study well. As I joined the college on merit the college fee for me is 10000rs for one year without usual expenses.
Internships Opportunities :

Placement Experience :
If a student need to be qualified for the placements, he should not have supply in his btech year pass out. Students who have supplies are not allowed to sit for placement. Last year 400 out of 600 were placed in companies like Infosys, Maruti, amazon, TVs etc. The highest package in the college was 20Lakh, and the average package is 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. Nearly 70-80 students are placed in the college. I wish to do Crack Gate and try to join any colleges abroad to get an M tech.
Campus Life :
Takshak is the tech fest conducted in the college and an art fest is also conducted called SANSKRITI. Both the programs are wonderful. All types of books and study materials are available in the college library. Sports are conducted before the art fest. Nss, IEEE, Alai etc are the clubs in the college. Hostels are almost good but the food quality is very bad in hostels(especially Chaqravarthy Hostel). Renting a PG is better than staying in a hostel like Chaqravarthy.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
