The college has a great campus and faculties. The college accepts admission from MHTCET and All India exams such JEE etc the cutoff are always listed on the college website but lie around 92+ for computer related branches and 85+ core branches other than civil and mechanical which have their cutoff at around 60-70 percentile. The college participates in CAP rounds fpr ease of admission.I do not know if management quota admission is offered as i havent seen anyone take management quota for admission yet.
The faculties include both strict and not so strict proffessers so long i have loved all of my professors all of them have a unique teaching style while still maintaining a professional approach to teaching. The terms exams are held in timely manner except this year due to admissions being delayed by the government.
Yes i have opted for internships which will start in the near future . According to my seniors the internships giving you stiped depends on the company so you might get a internship with stipend or an unpaid internship depends on the company and is not controlled by college
For placement eligibility criteria of atleast a 7cgpa is mentioned and good attendance is mandatory for the application. Few of the companies that recruit from mmcoe are TCS, infosys, etc almot more than 95% of students get placed while other either opt for off campus placement or higher studies
The yearly fees are 98000 for almost all branches from which 82000 is the tution fee which can waived if you have tfws seat or a caste reservation. Moreover they also have concession on hostel fees available on their website overall the i have paid 17000 in fees due to tfws scheme. If you have caste reservation seat eg - ST,SC you will pay the same as me i.e 17k approx. My batchmates who have not availed any type reservation or scholarship pah 98000 in fees for the course.
The campus life bustling and very nice. The seniors as well the alumni are kind individuals who have helped us juniors during our journey. The choices for extra curricular ate also vast as the college participates in various intercollegiate tournaments.Clubs have been formed for soft branches as well as the core branches which are very fun due to the seniors as well the projects. The best club according to me would be the racing team for mmcoe they have built cars and won various races.
I have not opted for a hostel but my friend has. According to him the rooms are nice with different hostel building for girls and boys to ensure safety. The serve food three times a day and u can have unlimited food provided u dont waste any. The food is strictly veg and you are not allowed to bring non veg food onto campus. They are completely okay with you eating non veg outside campus so no restrictions there. I have personally tried the mess food due to my friend and let me you it is absolutely delicious and cooked in front of you so you dont have to worry about food quality as such. If u dont want a hostel to put restrictions on you there various PGs as well as rooms for rent very near the college with restaurants that provide home cooked food nearby.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
