No. I didn't face any interviews for the admission. The admission process is very smooth. The college provides admission based on JEE AND CET percentile. It differs for branches. For CS branch is goes upto 96%
The facilities and the events happening in the college are very good. There's various clubs for students like Art Club, GDSC for developers, Sports for athletes and many more. The curriculum is based on SPPU syllabus and it is completed very year without fail. The exam supervision is quite strict. The facilities will help you utmost with everything you need. The college also favours a therapist for students who come from outer cities and will help them with everything they need.
No i have not yet engaged with any internships. As I'm in second year of my engineering I'm not eligible for any internship programs from college but college provides an various internship programs in 3rd year.
The CGPA should be above 6.5 with no backlogs. The highest on campus package received is around 15 LPA and off campus packages goes upto 40LPA. Many good recruiters like Tata and Bajaj come for the recruitment. The college also has a collaboration with a Japanese company which provides training starting from 3rd Year of college irrespective of branches.
The fees for the regular students per year is ?104000. The fees for financially backward is ?58600 The fees for SC is ?1500 The scholarship programs are available for students with some sports background as well as extra curricular things
The annual fest happens in the month of January-February. Lots of books are available at the library and you can get it with ease. There is a gym, an indoor badminton court. Table Tennis, etc. There are smart boards installed in every classroom which help the students to get notes in PDF file which allows them to have undivided attention towards teaching. You can open clubs, participate and have a lot of fun. The people are genuinely very nice.
I've not opted for a hostel facility this year. But I wouldn't recommend taking a hostel since the room are very small You have to live with 3 people although the hostels are clean it is a lot of effort.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
