Dark reality about private colleges of Bangalore

- Infrastructure of the college is very nice but the faculties don't know coding properly and they don't have proper idea of DSA and web development. This is the situation of all colleges like RVCE , MS Ramaiah college and dayananda sagar college of Bangalore.
- Security guards are kind hearted and they are of helping nature. Like others they don't discriminate like southy students .
Remarks :
I got this college on the basis of my COMEDK rank. I joined this college through comedk counselling just by paying around 1k. There is no written test, you have to do the same thing as you do JOSA counselling and CSaB counselling of JEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is no other curriculum activities in my campus. Generally there is one or two seminars in a month which is conducted by seniors only, like other colleges there is no chief guest or ther corporate crew who can give us a proper guidance about how to get a decent pakage and how to work on skills.
Internships Opportunities :
I had not opted for internship during my first three years of engineering. This is the stage where I made a mistake. Everyone should opt intership during third year of BTECH as when you will appear for placement, they will ask you about working experience. So everyone should choose Intership for 3 to 6 months.
Placement Experience :
Placement of Dayananda Sagar college is not so good . Ofcourse our college has placement but most of the companies that visit in our campus are mass recruiters and hence return of investment is not so good. Companies like Infosys, Accenture and some Japanese mass recruiters companies are there that hire students for fixed interval of time i.e around 6 months or a year. This is the case with all private colleges of Bangalore like RVCE, BMSCE and MS Ramiah institute of technology college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total tuition fees for a year is 260000 and hostel fee is 180000 for COMEDK examinees. For Kannada student 80000 is tution fee for a year for KCET examinees. There is one mode of admission i.e management quota
Campus Life :
Life campus in Dayananda Sagar college is very worst. There is discrimination on the basis of region language and regional place like South Indian and North Indian. South Indians are of dominating nature over north Indians. Even faculties also do partiality between south and north indian students. They give more marks to South Indians, even their answers are pointless.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted hostel for two years. The main reason for choosing hostel is that hostel rooms are spacious. Hostel mess food is worst.sometime you will find a cockroach or lizard in the food as my neighbour had discovered a cockroach in his food and we have photo. Hostel Life is okay ???????? but behaviour of South Indians is very rude towards North Indians bad.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
