Likes
- College buildings are quite good and have more classrooms. Some double as study rooms when there are no classes happening.
- Library has a large number of books and also some fictional books for entertainment.
- Campus Life is the most fun if you don't lock yourself in your room. Though there aren't a lot of places to visit, it's still fun walking around with friends.
Dislikes
- College buildings aren't painted. Because of the method of construction. So though the infrastructure is good, The lack of color makes it look plain.
- Mess food is sometimes inedible. Insects are found too.
- Hostel rooms occasionally get visitors(rats) so we're forced to keep our rooms closed
Remarks :
Qualify in JEE Mains and get a better rank than the cut-off in JEE Advanced to get your desired branch. No interviews. College has good enough and skilled profs but the weather is really bad. It's always at the extremes, either too cold, or too hot.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is pretty well structured. Most professors are quite skilled. Exams happen once every 1½ month excluding the class tests which can happen on any time if the professor wishes. The difficulty is relative. It's medium most of the times, but sometimes it's too easy or too hard.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are possible during any breaks between semesters. It depends on the skill and the recruiter. Some companies that have taken for internship are Amazon as a software engineer which has a good stipend of approx 1.5 LPM.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements are offered and training is given before the placements. Some frequent recruiters are Wipro, Texas instruments etc. Highest and average packages are 41.64 LPA(approx) and 10 LPA(approx) for CSE. Percentage of placements depends on the number of students opting for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are to be paid per semester. Institute related fees are about ?1,01,250 per semester for any branch in BTech which include tution fee, examination fee, etc. For the students staying in hostels, It'll be an extra of around 7k for room and 18~19k for mess. Campus Life :
Life at campus depends on your friend circle. It's most fun if you're with the people you can relate to. Most clubs actively conduct events. Infrastructure is good too although there isn't much to be in awe of. The college fest happens in the months of January-February. It's a 3 day fest called Tirutsava.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is pretty comfortable and mess food is good. Except sometimes when it isn't even edible. In which case, there are alternatives available which are food court and a hotel just outside the campus. There is no application for hostel room. By default, you will be allotted a room unless stated otherwise and taken permission. Fees as mentioned above is 7k for room and 18~19k for mess. Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
