- Infrastructure is newly built so classroom are good, boys will get single room from their 2nd year . For girls new hostels are not yet built they get room on sharing basis(3 or 5)
Dislikes
- Campus life is not so great.like if you take first gen iits, they are very happening colleges like you can see something otlr the other happening every week .
Remarks :
1)3rd gen IIT. Can't expect much campus life. 2)Take admission if you are getting CSE or electrical 4)hostel food is not so great. 5)sports facilities are good. 6)friendly seniors.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen electrical engineering because of my advanced rank. The course curriculum is almost the same in every other IIT. However, teaching methodology may change. But any way you won't be dependent on your professors for your exam, most students prepare on their own. You have a test each course that you have taken for every month and an end-semester exam after 2 tests. Each course may have different weightage criteria depending upon the professors (mostly 20+20+60 or 15+15+60+10 marks for assignments). And yes you have a good no. of scholarship opportunities, you can see the institute's website.
Internships Opportunities :
Not me, but a few of my classmates are doing internships off campus in their 2nd year. But you can do a research internship under a professor. Apart from academics you need to learn something out of curriculum. You will have an internship phase in your 3rd year where you have to do a mandatory internship or do a research internship under a professor.
Placement Experience :
So right now because of job market conditions placements are not up to the mark. But yes you may get a good one if you are taking cse. you can do your side hustles, and coding, and grab a good package...
Campus Life :
Again it is a 3rd zen IIT, so you can't expect much of college life that your dreaming. From 2nd year onwards boys will get a single room. These hostels are newly built so rooms are great. Only a few clubs are active most of the time. Sports and all are ok-ish

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
