I was new to Mumbai so I didnt really know how to select college , I did select a few colleges and one of them was this. I got admission in this college only so feeling bound and helpless I had ti choose this college. The admission process was the official website but to get logged in you have to visit the college itself and there were no entrance exam . The cut offs were fairly low
I had 6 subjects throughout my fyjc and syjc . The faculty in the start of the year taught us good but as the days went some only came in class and sat or just look at the textbook and just translate from English yo hindi but the economics teacher was good and knew what she was doing other were meh
For the first year I paid around 28,000 for my 11th and then for 13th it was around 30000. The fees differed by the kind of subjects we choose , like the normal subs were cheaper as compare to taking some other subs
The fest was antarang and they didnt really took the juiniors like myself , no announcement or whatsoever for joining the clubs but rather if you had prior connection then yes you can get in . No perks of being in one I felt like , the sports committee was good and reliable. The library was good but getting a book there was hard you can't just come and take book you had to go the book giver tell him the slot number and all those B's
There was no hostel by the college and I live in mumbai , the canteen was kinda expensive anf they didn't have lunch options to get by from . The college doesnt have a hostel , the food was meh as compare to price it was okay okay tbh
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
