I got it in second round of du counselling and I just knew that this college is the one for me ,in terms of studies and the infrastructure is the best. The cut off varies,my score wasn't that good but I still got it
Course Curriculum Overview :
The professors are so good here. They started teaching as soon as the college started , I feel like our department is more strict in terms of the academics which is a very good thing. I'm having fun studying
Placement Experience :
Personally my main purpose of join this college is gaining experience, learning new things and socializing. I don't want any placement after graduation as I wanna complete my masters too then I'll think about job. I want internships because it will teach me how to use my academic knowledge in real life.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm paying 16666 per year which is a good thing (the fees is same for everyoneexcept pwd i guess). I heard they give freeships and Scholarships to the students , I'm still new so I'll get to know about it during mid terms.
Campus Life :
It's only been 6 days since I joined the college, I personally feel like if you put efforts in socializing it's so fun. We have so many society orientations, freshers parties this month and next month too.i haven't explored library yet but I heard from my friends that it's good , they find all books they need there. Our college have so many societies including fashion, dance(zeal), music, tedx, film , etc. They have social media for every society.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
